Teacher Trouble

Xmas day

I was asleep and I woke up and went loo before heading downstairs and I could smell breakfast being cooked

Sam picked me up and i immediately snuggled into him

"Tired?" Sam said

I nodded and into the kitchen we went and everyone saw us and I was placed down next to dad and next to mum and we all ate the breakfast

Everyone else's had beans except from mine as I loathed them, i scrunched my nose up to them

After dinner was eaten we went to the front room and waited for the other engines from Firehouse 51 to arrive and I snuggled in between my mum and my dad when they had arrived

They all sat down and dad wrapped a blanket around me

First we opened the presents from the family

Dad got:

• Some cds
• one of Uncle Charlie's beanies
• sweets
• a knitted scarf
• a jacket to match the one I had borrowed
• a locket that had a picture of him and mum in it
• keyring with mine and dads name engraved in it

I leaned into dad and mum opened her gifts next from the family as I held my preset and had Arlo next to me

Mum got:

• a knitted scarf
• jewellery
• her cap but with her name stitched on

I opened mine and struggled with the duct tape the twins had put on there presents to mine

Yes i might be a fully fledged firefighter and lifeguard didn't mean I still wasn't eleven

Dad and mum helped me with the duct tape ones

I got:

• a knitted scarf
• sweets
• pranking items
• more socks
• a new jacket
• stick of rock
• some more rope

I smiled and said "Yay pranking equipment thanks James"

"Told you there partners in crime" Penny teased

"Mum don't tease dad" I say as I hug dad

"Awh can't mum have a hug?" Penny said with a slight pout

I nodded and hugged her and mum gave the whole of Firehouse 51 a present each and they opened it and saw a keyring with there name on it

They said thanks to us and I shook all of there hands as I didn't want to be picked up today, I wanted to spend the whole day leant into my dad and snuggled into my mum

They all understood and all parties were grateful I had told them my boundaries for the day and they had respected them

"These are gifts from CFD headquarters" Casey said

"Ooooh so you have a HQ like we do?" I ask emerald green eyes went wide

"Yes Jones we do" he smiled

"Ours is in Cardiff" I smile

I got given a present and I open it and I saw a poster of firehouse 51 which had everyone in it signature and it had the light blue colour that Pontypandy fire service uses

I smiled widely and I saw another package and when I opened it I saw it was a helmet that said my name on it and I smiled and mum put it on my firefighting shelf for me and Penny and Sam knew as well as the whole of firehouse 51 that it had been made when I had visited with Ellie

They also donated a special American firefighting uniform for me and I saw it had my name on the bottom sown onto the bottom just under Chicago Fire dept on the back

Also everything was on it and included in it other then the oxygen tanks

I smiled and thanked them all and it was placed neatly in a draw in my bedroom

Also there was a video of the mayor of Chicago as well as the whole of firehouse 51 and they told me how I would become such a brilliant firefighter like my dad was and maybe take after his job

I chuckled and also in the video was the whole of the CFD, the whole of the CPD and the whole of the CMD and I smiled and thanked them all

It was filmed at Chicago o'hare airport alongside with American Airlines and British Airways also getting involved in the video
