Charlie wakes & Sam talks

It was now 8:30am when Ellie saw a text of Charlie's doctor saying he was awake

Four days after since they were brought in

Ellie smiled, Sam was going to be happy to hear the news so Ellie crept to Sam and shook him awake

Sam swatted her hand away and Ellie said "Sam, Charlie's awake" Ellie said

"No he's not" Sam mumbled

"I have a text to prove it" She said as she showed Sam the text and Sam read it

A smile appeared on his face and he kissed his wife's hand before he departed and Harry lead him there and could see he was hesitant about walking in

Sam walked in and he saw his brother say up on his phone which had been charging while he was unconscious

He saw texts and missed phone calls from Sam, it was like he had inored his brother which he couldn't remember doing

The first text was Sam being himself as he sent an emoji

The secound one was Sam telling Charlie his daughter was in the hospital due to a sledding accident caused by Norman Price

The third one saying they were all alongside Jones taking Sarah to the hospital

The fourth one was that Sarah had a broken arm alongside a twisted ankle and was asleep with Jones

The fifth one was a picture of his niece and daughter fast asleep together

The sixth one was a pleading message of Sam asking where he was

The seventh one was a message of Sam saying Bronwyn's here with Sarah, but Charlie your unconscious what if? Charlie!!!!!!!

The eight one was a message of Sam and it was an audio message and he could hear a slight attempt of a sea shanty in Welsh and he could tell Sam was upset

He couldn't read anymore messages but saw Sam had tried to call him multiple times

He knew his brother needed him more then ever now

"Charlie?" Sam said quietly

Charlie's head snapped up at the sound and he saw his brother who he could tell was worried and had been for a while

Now, wasn't the time to ask why, it was time to be a big brother so he opened his arms and Sam ran into them

He wrapped his arms around his brother and he could tell Sam was crying into his chest so he ran his hand through his brothers hair

What had happened Charlie thought what had happened while he been unconscious

Charlie lifted his brothers his head up and he saw tear tracks on his brothers face

Sam tried to burry his head again but Charlie stopped him and wiped the tears away of his brothers face

Charlie knew, Sarah had a broken arm and a twisted ankle but what else had made Sam like this unless he was the cause

Sam saw Charlie move up in bed and he patted the bed and Sam didn't hesitate getting in next to his brother

Charlie saw Sam place his head on his shoulder and Charlie let him

After a bit Sam lifted his head up and looked at his brother in the eyes and Charlie said "I'm fine Sam, I promise"

"But they couldn't rouse you and you had a blue hue and tinge on your lips and it wasn't a light blue either, it was a deep blue" Sam said not missing a syllable "And no one told me anything about your condition, don't worry tons of things have happened and I don't know how to let it all go"

Charlie rubbed his brothers shoulder and wanted to ask what things but just like his daughter Sam wouldn't talk unless he was ready to do so so Charlie waited

"While you was unconscious in your own world, Penny got framed for something she didn't do, luckily the culprit was caught, but she's now sick and really tired, I think she has got a delayed concussion" Sam mumbled "Nearly lost Jones but luckily she found Jessica"

Charlie held his brother close and kissed his head

"Sam, there okay" Charlie assured him

"Sarah and Bronwyn are okay, they'll be glad to know your okay and awake" Sam said

"I guess there still asleep" Charlie asked

Sam nodded and said "Apparently they all made a descion I should be first to see you though"

"And I wonder why everyone thought that?" Charlie said

"I've been so worried about you Charlie and then with Penny having a concussion I haven't been able to sleep" Sam admitted sheepishly

Charlie held him close and said "You know last night you accidentally sent me an audio message if you singing a sea shanty"

"Did I?" Sam said "Oh I did it Welsh, it's stuck in my head you know Jones can sing the whole thing in Welsh?"

"That I didn't know" Charlie said

Charlie see Sam looking at him oddly and he said "Sam?"

"Your beanie it's not there" Sam said "You not you without beanie"

Charlie chuckled and said "Someone's going to get me my green one Sam"

"Yay" Sam yawned as he stretched

Charlie laid down and saw his brother immediately follow and before he knew it Sam was fast asleep and Charlie decided to take a nap while wrapping both arms around Sam in a hope to calm
