Teacher Trouble

Medical checks

Jodie smiled and said "Medical checks"

Penny held me close and Ben said that he'd be on duty while we were having them done and I followed both Jodie and Mum into the room

It was a small room but cosy

First Penny went and then mum pulled me onto her lap and I was checked over

"Awh, stay still Jones be done soon" Jodie promised

I kept moving my foot away from her and it took her and Penny to hold it

I kicked and Jodie saw I had bruised my ankle so she wrapped it up and I was let down and Penny crouched down and said "Hey Jones I know your missing your dad and his hugs right now but wanna some more"

I nodded and Penny held my hand and Jodie got the bag ready

Jodie laid on the bed and Penny checked her breathing and heart rate and even though I knew how to I showed mum I could

She showed me how to test peoples reflexes as well to see if the muscles were tender, sore or just red and raised

She showed me all the tools used including the stethoscope and she showed me how to use it

After that Jodie sat up and I was told I could choose between the two and I automatically chose Jodie and apologised to mum, who didn't seem to mind, she knew pretending a patient on another family member after treating one was hard for any kid

I use the stethoscope on Jodie to hear her breathing and heart rate

"It's calm" I said

I checked her reflexes and also checked to see how her muscles were and I said "not tender there normal and her reflexes are as they should be"

At the hospital Sam was having his medical check done by Helen and Helen told him he was all well and healthy like me, Jodie and Penny was and then said how suprosed she was on how a medical exam as well as a huge training excersir could prevent someone from being a firefighter and that nothing else other then the medical exam result were needed for HQ

Sam had just shrugged in reply as he had no clue why

"Who's helping Jones and Pen's with there's?" Sam asked

"Jodie is Sam, there is safe hands" Helen assured him

"Sorry she's my daughter and wife I'm allowed to worry about them" Sam smiled

Once Helen left, Charlie popped by and told his brother that he only had one day left in the hospital and Sam knew he wasn't telling lies as brothers were always right

In another room, Ellie and Sarah were getting there medical exams done

And they were both alright apart from Sarah having a flashback and this resulted in a tablet which they all knew would work in an hour and off home they went

Also in another room Jessica and Mark were getting there Medical checkups and Mark offered to go first and he was all clear

Jessica went secound and they all respected and made sure they didn't hurt the bump and if they did so it was accidental as they were moving so slow and one at a time

Jessica was soon cleared and was fine but she was soon laid down and an ultrasound was happening

December 22cnd Was todays date and March 7th was there due date

They got the pictures of there babies and they both smiled when they saw them together and they asked her how she felt and if she felt ready yet

Jessica said no to that question and that her back was fine

Mark took her home once they were allowed to and tucked her in and did her hair and they watched a film before pizza and bed

December 23rd was tomorrow's date
