Teacher Trouble

Presents and family time

We woke up at half eleven as dad decided we needed a lie in and then we called Ellie over and dad went to get here and mum placed my keyring with my other firefighter items and I smiled and said "Can't wait to be a firefighter just like you and dad mum"

"You'll be a great firefighter Jones" Penny smiled "Firefighter Jones has a ring to it"

I smiled widely and put on my dads jacket and mum wrapped an arm around me

"Dads going to frame your pic with Casey" Mum said as she did my hair for me

"Awesome" I smile

"It will go with your other firefighter items" mum explained to me

I smiled softly

Meanwhile, Sam had picked up Ellie and they stopped by Newtown to get a frame for the picture Casey had given Jones of him and her standing next to truck 81

"Jones really wants to become a firefighter" Sam said as he paid for the frame once he found the perfect blue one "And her fave colour is blue if you haven't realised"

He took the frame and Ellie said "yes I have realised Sam, your phone's buzzing by the way"

"Odd, shouldn't be unless pen or Jones needs me" Sam said as he grabbed his phone to check it he saw a text of Casey saying left something for you all in the post I've been told it's been delivered to Newtown today - Matt Casey

It was 12pm here meaning it was 6am there, what was Casey doing up? Night shift probably

"Post, from Chicago" Sam said "I'll go get it don't get yourself lost, don't need you lost in Newtown like Arnold got lost in Cardiff"

"Says you, you got lost in China" Ellie teased

Sam stuck his tounge out and went to the post office as Ellie went to get a certain someone some winter clothes

Sam got the parcels and saw five of them and he waited for Ellie who appeared with some more bags and he then said "Shall we head home I'm surprised I haven't got Penny or Jones asking where we are"

They walked home and stopped by Steele's to give him his present by the station which was a book from Boden about some emergencies they attened and there was some space left for him to fill in it

Once home Sam called inside for me and mum and there was no reply, this worried both Sam and Ellie so once door was closed they walked into the kitchen and saw no sign of them and same in the living room

Odd

They walked into my room once they tooth there shoes off so they obeyed my rule of no shoes in my bedroom, luckily mum hadn't put any on as she had had no reason to as she hadn't even left the house and wouldn't be leaning the house today anyway

Ellie found them having a nap in Jones's room and they saw my hair in two French plats which had been what I asked for

They left us to sleep and Sam saw his present was a book from Casey with some positive notes in and also what Jones had been up to the day of the court case and how much she throughly enjoyed it and how much Casey wanted her to become the great firefighter she wanted to become

Ellie saw hers was some pjs with the fighting 81 (truck 81, logo) and she put them in her bag and they soon saw me and penny approach them after they had woken up from there nap

They saw me run to Ellie and she picked me up and said "Hello you"

"Els when did you get here" I smile

"An hour ago when you was sleeping" Ellie said

"Actually, hold on mummy was sleeping to" I pout

"Me knows, hey Jones dad has something for you" she said as she put me down and I walked to him and said "Dad"

Sam picked me up and swung me around for a while before he said "yep, sit and I'll give it you"

I sat on the sofa and Sam passed me the bag and I looked inside and saw my photo that I taken with Casey next to truck 81 was now framed and I asked dad to place it next to my other firefighter items and he did so

"Wow Jones you really are determined to be a firefighter" Ellie said

"Yep, I love the job and I hope I can achieve it" I smile widely

I sat back down on the sofa and accepted the bag of Ellie and saw winter clothes in it and I smiled and said "Yay now when it snows I can build a snowman on the mountain without shivering, thanks Auntie Els"

"Maybe not when an avalanche happens though eh?" Sam said

"In my defence I didn't know it was going to happen and my foot was trapped so that's how me and Tom got caught in it" I smile softly as dad kissed my head and I subconsciously leaned into him

Mum had opened hers from the station and saw it was a book the same as Dad's and Steele's

I was then passed a present in blue wrapping paper once mum had placed my winter clothes in my bedroom and Ellie had taken her shoes off and I opened it

It was a pair of light blue pjs just the same shade as my fave ones and instead of the Pontypandy logo it had the Chicago Firehouse 51 logo on it and I smiled as I asked dad to take me upstairs

"Someone's being a daddy's gal today" Penny smiled

"She loves her dad don't you Jones?" Sam asked as he picked me up

"Always dad" I smile as I helped him with something and then it was dinner

And we ordered in pizza for mum, dad and Ellie and chips for me as I didn't like pizza and I hated it so I ate the chips

After dinner I had a shower and put my new pjs on and raced downstairs and sat on my dads lap

"Wearing your new pjs Jones?" Ellie asked me as the adults all looked at me wearing my new pjs

Dad told me to stand up and I pouted big time and dad said "I can sit back down in a min once he took a photo and had sent it Casey to show the whole crew of Firehouse 51"

I stood up and faced him as dad took a pic and sent it Casey with a text saying Show the crew - Sam Jones

Casey: will do - Matt Casey

And then I say back down and the tv was placed on mums fave show first which was one of the soaps then Ellie's turn and homes under the hammer and then dads who watched some interventions show like inspector gadget and I put on Nativity and we watched Al four

Once film four finished we drank hot chocolates and placed another movie on (Matilda) and we watched it

"Excited for school when it reopens Jones?" Ellie asked noticing my eyelids were slipping shut

"A little" I say "Want Mrs Chen back or to have Mrs Sandy as my teacher"

They nodded and grease was out on for the adults as they all noticed I was getting quite sleepy

I soon fell asleep in my dads hold and after a hug of each of them, Ellie, Penny and dad am I tucked into bed, Arlo in my hands
