Teacher Trouble

Arriving

Bronwyn, Sarah and Ellie were chilling with Sarah asleep when the others came in

They saw the rest of Pontypandy crew follow and they saw Charlie carrying an uncharacteristic Jones

She was quiet and stopped crying a while ago and Charlie sat down still holding her

The others filed in and Harry was called and he held a cup with a straw and a lid and Charlie placed the trauma meds in my mouth and Harry placed the straw on by mouth before he had realised I had swallowed them dry but the drink was refreshing anyways

Harry gently held my thumb and saw it was cut open and would require stitches

"Hey Jones" Harry said and I looked up

The quietness Jones was expressing was worrying in itself

"I'm gonna go get something to clean that wound with so we can stitch it up" Harry explains

The thumb was yanked back, seemed Jones had Sam's dislike of needles also but he looked at Ellie and Steele and said "I know I needs Sam and Penny's approval but it really needs doing"

Harry went to get something to clean and with Charlie and Bronwyn's question of seeing how Sam was he went to see them first

He walked in and immediately the pair knew something had happened since he last visited with water and tea as Sam had been told no coffee so he was resulting to water with no more then a scoff

"So I've been asked to see how you were" Harry said but he already knew the answer, the others didn't, Jones would if she wasn't so uncharacteristically quiet

"Harry your Sam's Doctor you already know" Penny said as she look suspicious at the old man

Harry lips thinned and said "You already know about Sarah and Ellie being in hospital"

"Harry we've watched the news, what's happened with the Pontypandy Fire station silence?" Sam asked him throughly aware his daughter was there with the remained of his co-workers

Harry cursed the news shows in Welsh and Harry saw Sam glare as he said "Mae Harry'n cofio fy mod i'n rhugl yn y Gymraeg hefyd, yn union fel mae Jones"

Harry giggled nervously and said "The news somehow found out, there safe that I can assure you of"

"All accounted for I hope?" Penny said

"All accounted for, also quick question are you going to let me stitch your daughters thumb up" Harry slipped in

"Stitches?" Sam said as he blinked to Harry

"Yeah, they were found halfway to the barn fire as you know there was a barn fire, Jones was fixing Phoenix and she cut her thumb open how she didn't realise it to Charlie pointed out in beyond myself" Harry said

"Jones, has a somewhat higher pain tolerance then her cousins do and if she was focused on fixing as she was her body would've blocked it out" Sam replied "But yes I give you permission to stitch my daughters thumb up"

Harry left and Sam sighed and said "Penny?"

Penny looked up from her book and said "Yes Sam?"

"Can we go home yet?" Sam asked already knowing the answer

"No Sam, nice try but hopefully Harry allows us to see Jones soon" Penny said with a strained smile "Harry didn't tell us everything Sam"

"That Jones is most likely quiet?" Sam said looking at his wife as he took the book out of her hands to read himself

"How do you know that?" Penny asked

"It's her trauma response to get her out of it is me" Sam said as he distracted himself with her book and Penny has a quick nap

Meanwhile Harry was having a struggle to get to my thumb and Rose was told about the court case they all needed to attend and Rose asked if she as well as Sarah's parents would be there as well

They said they would be allowed to and that they expected them and that the flight had been booked for them as they spoke

Rose told the others and I immediately showed worry so Rose crouched down to my level and said "Jones, we'll be okay I promise you, everyone will be"

I gave her my pinkie finger as I wasn't speaking and she wrapped hers around mine and then she stood up and once they had all gone it was just Steele, Arnold, Elvis and me

Before that though everyone was trying to cheer me up but I wasn't laughing, I was quiet and for once I didn't know to snap out of it

I sighed and curled into the bed

"She needs Sam and Penny but there currently busy" Steele muttered

I had fallen asleep the Adeline leaving my body and they knew not to stitch it up as I slept, as that wouldn't that good and I would wake most likely crying and no one wanted that, they wanted her to get some sleep as the quicker time went, the quicker she could see her parents
