Sticking together

It was the next day at Chicago Med and Sam, Penny, Steele alongside Jones were in the room chatting about how the past couple of weeks had been to Jones looked at them and asked them to stop

Penny pulled her close and kissed her head and let Sam kissed his daughters head

Jones smiled and let Sam hug her for a while while still holding her teddy

"How's you Jones?" Ellie asked

"Me comfy" I say my head snuggled into my dads shoulder

After a while the food came round and they were all given food even if Sam had to send his back due to it containing strawberries

They were asked allergies and Sam said "Jones, Strawberries, Sweetcorn and Oranges, me Strawberries"

They nodded and off they went

The others are there food and Sam passed Jones the fork containing the sausage and she ate it and soon the whole plate of bangers and mash was empty followed by the jelly which was to eaten up fully

Everyone else had eaten there lunch and Sam frowned and Steele furrowed his eyebrows together as he went to go find Sam's meal as he wasn't having another firefighter in the hospital

Before he could leave the room however Dr Manning brought it and apologised for the delay

Sam saw Jones quietly sitting on his lap as she played with his zip on his jacket so he gave her back to penny causing her to mumble softly and drop her teddy

Sam picking it up and passed it back to her and she coiled her hand around it quite quickly

Sam accepted his food and once she left Sam tucked in after investigating it

He had eaten it all up a little later and passed it to the food tray containing the old trays and he washed his hands

Penny passed her phone to Jones and she was watching her fave tv show

Around an hour and a half later a knock was heard and Boden popped his head through the door and asked if they could come in

Penny nodded and said "Of course"

They all walked in and they saw Sam sat down on the bed next to his wife

Penny laying on the bed the iv still in her arm while cradling Jones while she watched her show which was to no doubt distract her from the hospital and its surroundings

Steele and Ellie sat in chairs as they seen the whole scene

"Hello, as you know this is my crew" Boden said 

"Casey, Serveride, Brett, Herman, Mullins, myself Boden and our other paramedic Dawson" Boden explained

We waved and Steele introduced the Pontypandy crew that was here to Firehouse 51

"So Sam, Penny, Ellie" Steele started "I'm stating officer Steele and Jones"

I waved and said "Hey"

"Heya Jones, I have something for you" Casey said

I raised an eyebrow as he passed it me and I looked at it and said "Thanks Casey, it's the photo dad"

Sam took it and looked at it and smiled as he said "Thanks Casey, it's one of her fave photos"

"Your welcome, what can I say Firefighters stick together" Casey said

"That they do indeed" I smile and my emerald green eyes look up at him

"So how far is Jones on her training then?" Boden asked as he saw Casey was telling Jones all about teh equipment he has used in emergency's
