The morning before Arizona Robbins and Callie Torres left for Africa, Mallory Shepherd gathered with Alex, Louis, and Mark at their apartment to help them get everything packed. As everyone put things into boxes, Mark Sloan sat at the counter, holding Carter in his arms.

Question...

When was the last time a complete stranger took off her clothes in front of you, pointed to a big purple splotch on her back, and asked...

What the hell is this thing?

"You know, I'm really going to miss you guys," Mallory was the first to speak up. "It's been nice having you guys so close; it's gonna be hard adjusting to Africa."

"Right," Alex was quick to agree. "There goes Carter's favorite babysitters."

"Hey," Louis raised a brow as he objected. "Do not disrespect me like that in front of my nephew."

"You know, you guys totally didn't give me time to transition," Mallory continued to voice her complaints. "I mean, you totally skipped moving out of the building and went straight to moving out of the continent."

Louis nodded along as he added. "Plus, you were some of my favorite tenants. You always paid on time."

"Come here, Carter," Mallory took Carter from Mark as she said. "Isn't that right? Everyone's gonna miss Aunt Callie and Aunt Arizona."

On the other side of the kitchen counter, Arizona was going through all of their drawers and cabinets, pulling out different utensils and appliances they had gathered. And as she pulled them out, she attempted to pass off each item onto one of their friends.

"Okay. How about it, Mark?" Arizona showed him a kitchen utensil. "You know you've always wanted one of these."

Alex started to chuckle as he retorted. "It's a good thing you didn't become a salesman."

If you're a normal person, the answer is hopefully never.

If you're a doctor...

The answer is probably about five minutes ago.

"Nah, I'm good," Mark turned down her offer, focusing on the appliance behind her. "I will take that waffle iron, though."

The second that Mark made the suggestion, Callie's brows furrowed, and she immediately shut it down. "What? I have never even seen you eat a waffle."

"Well, I would," Mark argued back. "If I had a waffle iron."
