The next morning, Mallory Shepherd was up at the crack of dawn. She deep-cleaned everything in her house, even more than she had the day before. With help from Arizona Robbins and Callie Torres, she started to rearrange things in the nursery, wanting everything to be perfect.

They say that you can feel a shift the day your life is about to change.

In the nursery, Mallory had Callie move the bookshelf from one wall to the other, which woke Alex Karev up in the next room. When he woke up, he couldn't help but wonder how his fiancée managed to sneak out of bed.

"Mal, it is seven in the morning," Alex called out as he got out of bed. "Didn't the OB tell you to take it easy?"

When he walked into the nursery, he was surprised to see Mallory sitting on the floor, going through the different books while Callie did all of the heavy work at her instruction. But still, his fiancée wasn't doing anything at all.

Mallory looked up from her spot on the floor as she insisted. "I am taking it easy."

"She is right," Callie nodded along. "Especially compared to an hour ago."

"No, this isn't how this works," Alex started to shake his head as he insisted. "When your OB tells you to take it easy, that doesn't mean you wake up at the crack of dawn and start cleaning and rearranging the house."

"Don't you think I've tried that?" Callie added with a raised brow. "But then she threatened to do it all by herself. At least I'm doing the heavy lifting."

But to others...

It can seem like any other normal day.

Alex narrowed his eyes before he started to look around the nursery, noticing the little changes that had been made over the morning, which made him sigh. "What was wrong with the shelf being on that wall?"

"Oh my God," Callie groaned loudly. "Please don't get her started—"

"It's in my vision," Mallory declared, making her fiancé's brows furrow. "I had a dream last night, and the bookshelf was on that way, so I want it on that wall. It needs to be on that wall, otherwise it won't be perfect."

Arizona walked back into the room next with two cups of coffee in her hand, passing one off to her girlfriend with a smile. But the second that Mallory saw the coffee, she glared her eyes at the pediatric surgeon.
