"We aren't sharing." Kenny's voice was stern and bitter as he wore an almost child-like pout as he spoke.

Sarita sighed, allowing a hand to lift and squeeze the bridge of her nose in exhaustion. "We have plenty. We can't finish it all ourselves, I don't see why we can't share." Her raven-hair swayed as she turned to strike a serious look over her significant other. She was positioned perfectly between the two feuding sides; Kenny vs. Luke and Nick. It was as if there was a stand off taking place and Sarita was the barrier between the two sides commencing war. Clearly, nothing out of the ordinary.

"Because we can't."

"Come on man, a few won't change anything."

Rebecca peeked up from the corner of the room, retracting herself from the book she was attempting to be distracted by. "What are you guys fighting about?" She called from the other end of the room.

"Beer." The four of them responded, monotone and with exhaustion latched to their speech.

"Good. I don't need to give a damn then." With that her book popped back up in front of her face once more.

Luke squinted back at her. Considering she was pregnant, it was true that there wasn't a need for her to get involved in the quest for liquor. But that didn't dismiss his very present argument. "Can you at least help us decide who's right?"

Rebecca sighed, her book falling limply into her lap with an irritated glare shot to the group.

"You could maybe score Alvin a beer in the process?"

She sat idle for a beat, pondering the thought over. However, relatively quickly, she pushed herself up and hobbled over. "I don't see how anyone in this argument could be 'right'." She grumbled, placing her hands on her lower back.

"Is it being a dick to hide all the beer in the back for only him to have?"

"Hey! That's not how it works."

"Yes it is! All we want is a single case out of the dozens you have back there. It's been a rough week, we can't de-stress a little?"

"No! Because it ain't yours!"

"It isn't 'yours' either. You don't own this ski lodge, it was here when you guys arrived to take the place--"

"Kenny." Sarita's voice was soft, yet seemed to be wound with stress given the way the words squeezed out. "Let them have a case of beer. Please?" Her patience was wearing thin, it was apparent in her voice, and Kenny could sense it given the desperate gaze she was giving. Even from afar Kenny could also feel the build up irritation in Rebecca, ready to burst if their bickering continued.

The last thing he wanted was two angry women on his tail. Especially if one of them was his lover.

Kenny stood still for a moment longer, silent. His eyes darted towards the two males. "Take one."

With a high-five, they were off.

"Save one for Alvin!" Rebecca called after them, giving a small nod to Sarita in a job-well-done. It was returned, and they went on their ways leaving behind a confused, bearded man.

As they grabbed their case, Luke grinned hauling it up the stairs and slapping it down on the wooden floor of their room. He greedily ripping away the cardboard and exposed the shining blue and silver cans.
