"Is Paul high again?"

David turned, casting the teen a side eye over the weekly report Joan passed to him earlier that day. "Are you surprised?"

Clementine smirked, shrugging her shoulders, not moving her hands from where they were on her hips.

Davis scoffed playfully, turning back to his report. "That guy's never sober."

"He's just trying to cope."

David withheld the urge to roll his eyes. "There are other ways." He was Richmond's only doctor. It was unfair of him to never be in the correct mindset to actively do his job. However, seeing as he was all Richmond had, they weren't about to argue with him. The risk of losing him was too great.

Glancing up from his report, the male furrowed his brows. Suddenly realizing how strange the question was, David set the paper against his table. "Why do you ask?"

Clementine turned, tearing her gaze from one of the littered walls in Richmond's HQ. She shrugged, arms crossed. "Just jealous."

"Jealous?" David almost choked on his spit. He didn't peg Clementine as the drug-using type.

"Yeah," Clem claimed passively "You know, he actually has something to do around here."

David, guffawed at her passiveness on the subject. Finally, gaining control of himself, he cleared his throat. "Please, for the love of God, don't do drugs out of boredom."

"Then, let's arrange to actually do something." She claimed, waving her arms, propelling herself closer to the male's desk. "Maybe if we actually plan something fun to do, people won't be miserable and Paul can stay sober for five minutes."

"Wistful thinking."

"David," Clem groaned, plopping her hands on the edge of his desk, desperate for his attention. "Come on. Let's get something organized. It can be small, just something."

David hesitated, his gaze lingering against Clementine before returning to his desk, hoping to stifle through some papers. "There's plenty to do around Richmond."

"Yeah, chores." Clementine quipped back. "Nothing fun to do."

David sighed, growing rapidly irritated by the teen's persistence. "Then what do you suggest, Clementine?"

The teen smiled, arms returning to their crossed, cocky state. "Let's have a game night."

"A game night?" David questioned, raising an eyebrow. "What in the hell would we play? We have practically no equipment."

Clementine smirked, her finger tapping at her lower lip. "I know just the game."

The girl dismissed herself, assuring David that in an hour she would have assembled a crew to play a game of her choice. While skeptical, the male wasn't about the decline the girl's request. Some time to relax would do the group well, and seeing the girl finally motivated to do anything was a refreshing surprise.
