No, she didn't always smoke. Oh Hal would start a fight over it if he saw her. But sometimes she needed it to calm herself down and this was one of the moments. It wasn't really flattering as she was parked on the side of the road, her car turned off as she sat against it outside, blowing the smoke out. Normally she was now in Greendale having a interview that would result in a great article but that person bailed on her last minute, taking away her excuse for some alone time as she had planned to make it a two day trip. She needed some peace. Yet here she sat now. How ironic life could be sometimes. Her phone vibrated as she quickly unlocked it, finding a message from her husband asking how the interview was going as a groan left her lips. Normally she would tell him that it isn't happening and that she was coming home but she really didn't want to. So she simply locked her phone again and took another drag of her cigarette. "Well, well, what a sight."A familiar voice said as she looked up, finding none other than FP standing next to her car, hands resting on his hips, a smirk on his lips. "Don't you have something better to do, Jones?"She asked with a raised eyebrow, letting the smoke escape past her lips. "Does it look like?"He asked back, sliding down next to her. "Now, don't you have something better to do, Smith?"He asked, throwing the question back at her as he took the cigarette from between her fingers, putting it between his lips. "It's Cooper."She said back, not answering his question. "Doesn't suit you, babe."He said straight away. She knew he didn't like the fact that she married Hal but he had no say in what she did or does. He could complain about it like he sometimes did but that was all. "You should get used to it, Forsythe."She muttered, taking her cigarette back when he handed it back. "Now tell me, what is the mighty Alice Smith doing on the side of the road sitting in the dust while smoking a cigarette?"He asked with a raised eyebrow, leaning against her car as he looked at her, studying her. "Someone bailed on me."She murmured, not wanting to say it or just admit it but she didn't want to come up with a whole story about it. "Ouch, must hurt your feelings, babe."He mocked, grabbing at his chest as she just pushed him at that. "Have a laugh at it, you dick!"She hissed causing him to chuckle. "Don't get your panties in a twist, Ali."He said back, poking her side to receive a glare from her. "Shove off, Jones."She muttered. It was a strange feeling really. A part of her wanted to strangle him for bothering her but another part enjoyed his company. It was a battle in her head, trying to decide which feeling was present the most. But she really couldn't. It was strange, more than strange. "What's going on inside your head, Smith?"He asked curious, leaning slightly against her. "Where we can get some wine, Jones."She answered straight away, not hating how he leant on her. No, she finally came up with her answer. She liked that he was here with her. "I know a place."He answered, standing up before holding out his hand. An invitation for her to decide what she would do the rest of the night, spend it alone here in the middle of nowhere or following him anywhere...

"You know what, Jones, life just sucks!"Alice exclaimed, leaning against him as his arm was around her waist, leading her to his trailer. "Tell me something I don't know yet."He threw back with a chuckle. Maybe they had a drink too much. Well maybe she had, he didn't drink anymore since he came out of jail. He wanted to be a better father for Jug. So he drank some water while she drank a whole bottle of red wine, another bottle in her hand. Not a really flattering sight as he was carrying her heels in his other hand. She would probably hate what happened tomorrow but now they were in the present. So it was the now he only cared about and that was getting her inside his trailer and putting that bottle of wine away even if it meant draining it in the sink. "You're strong."She muttered, squeezing his upperarm. "You've been working out, Jonesy?"She asked with a chuckle as he opened the door of his trailer, praying to the gods that Jughead wasn't home. Otherwise he would have to explain this to. "I've been in jail, Alice."He said back as an explanation, pushing the door wide open as she stumbled inside. "Did you fight there?"She asked, letting herself fall onto the couch, spilling the red wine on her clothes but she didn't seem to really care about that as she just stared blankly at the red wine stains that were now on her shirt and pants. "I stood my ground."He answered, taking off his leather jacket. "Now let's get you to bed, Smith."He muttered, taking the bottle out of her hands, going inside the kitchen to put in a cupboard as she followed him, not liking the fact that he was putting away her wine. "I'm not finished with that, Jones!"She said with a pout trying to get it from him as he just held it above his head. "You are finished with that, Smith."He said back sternly. "Party pooper."She muttered under her breath, now looking back at her shirt. "You stained your shirt."He said, pointing out the obvious just to break the silince that hung now between them and to make the previous subject dissapear. "Uhu."She said softly, slowly starting to unbutton her shirt. "Ali!Alice!"He quickly said, closing the distance between them as he pulled her shirt close. "Don't be shy, you've seen me naked."She said, trying to open it to only feel resistence from him. "I don't want you to regret anything."He muttered as her blue eyes found his. "I'll only take my shirt off, Jonesy."She said, holding up her pinky as he just raised an eyebrow at that. "I promise it."She added. "Just get in bed, Alice."He said back, letting go of her shirt as he made his way to the bedroom, making up the bed as she followed behind him. "Now get under the covers, Smith."He ordered, holding the blankets up as she crawled under it immediately. "You still love me, Jonesy?"She asked suddenly, making him look at her, uncertainty in his eyes, not knowing what to say. "What do you think, Ali?"He asked back, not answering her question. "Than stay with me."She muttered, patting the place next to her. "You'll be the death of me, Smith."
