I woke up a bit early the next morning. I rubbed my eyes and kept them shut for a moment, still stuck in sleep mode. With a sigh, I went to get up but plopped right back down in bed with a yelp. That definitely woke me up and I realized that Arnavji was holding onto my wrist, his eyes shut, looking as if he were asleep.

Clever much.

Resting my arm and head on his chest, I looked at him.

"Good morning Mr. Ajnabi," I smiled softly, my voice still groggy and tired.

He scrunched his eyebrows and opened his eyes and looked at me.

"What did you call me," he asked, looking humored.

"Mr. Ajnabi," I grinned.

"Why?"

"That's what Payal and I used to call you before we knew what your name was."

"Interesting...."

"Hmm... now let go of me. I have work to do and you need to go to work."

"You're letting me go to work?"

"You're welcome."

I released myself from his grip and grabbed my sari, managing to drape it around me and covering myself up. Going over to the wardrobe, I grabbed another sari to wear. Just as I was about to enter the bathroom, Arnavji spoke up.

"You know... you look better without it on."

My cheeks filled with blush and with a shake of my head, I went in and took a nice, warm shower, calming my body from last night's, er, activities. When I got out, Arnavji was already on his laptop.

Unbelievable.

With a shake of my head, I swung my hair back, not realizing that little drops had splashed onto Arnavji. He looked at me as I tried to dry my hair with my towel. Getting up from the lounger, he made his way towards me, gazing away, and grabbed me by the waist.

"What are you doing," I asked.

He was lost, gazing away and I felt really shy. He moved my hair aside and was about to kiss my neck, when someone knocked at the door. Arnavji instantly let go and went into the bathroom as I quickly gathered my scattered brains and opened the door.

"Oh, good morning Di."

"Good morning Khushi," she smiled. "Is Chote awake?"

"He just went into the bathroom. Why? Did you need something?"

"Oh, no actually. Nothing really. I'll see you both downstairs," and with a smile, she left.

Well that was kind of weird.

I quickly got ready and headed down to the kitchen to help prepare breakfast. Everyone except Arnavji arrived and sat down as we placed food down on the table. As I placed down the last bit of food, Arnavji came into the room, looking as handsome as ever in a white button down, navy-blue waistcoat and pants, with a slim black tie.

Sigh... my man dresses real good!

And no, I couldn't give a damn about grammar when it came to my husband.

Arnavji looked at me as he came in and I looked back. We both pulled our chairs out and were about to sit when we saw something on our seats.

"What the?"

Only it wasn't just Arnavji to say it, but me as well. Surprised, we looked at each other.

Ugh! He has such an influence!

Everyone else looked at us and tried to hide their smiles.

"No need to be alarmed," Payal said as she put down some rotis on the table and sat down.

"What," we both asked together again.

Payal smiled. "How about you pick up the envelopes and sit down."

We did as she said and opened up the envelopes. I looked at it and observed it, my eyes widening at the contents.

"Tickets," I asked.

"Yup," Payal replied cheerfully.

"For what?!"

She gave a sly look. "Your honeymoon."

What? Both Arnavji and I looked at her. This is a joke right?

"No, it's not," Payal said, reading the expression on my face. "We all pitched in and now you both will be going away for your honeymoon."

This isn't real, I gulped.

"That's right," Di said.

We turned to look at her.

"Both of you will be leaving this afternoon."

"I've called your office," Dai said, "and I told them that you won't be in for about a week or so."

I looked at Arnavji. This isn't happening.

Only Arnavji looked as confused I was.

"Don't worry," Payal said. "The place is beautiful! The hotel is just amazing and oh my gosh! You guys are going to love it!"

I'm not so sure about that. I mean don't get me wrong, yes I want to go on my honeymoon with my husband, what newlyweds don't want to? But alone with Arnavji... that too at what must be a fancy, expensive hotel....

"Haan betiyan," Nani said. "You both just got married, so you have to go away on your honeymoon."

"Dadi's absolutely right," Payal said. "You both are going!"

I sighed. There's no way to stop Payal when she starts. I looked at Arnavji, trying to figure out what he thought. He looked down and gave a reassuring look.

"Fine," he said. "We'll go."

All the other ladies, except for Mami, shrieked.

"Perfect," Payal exclaimed. "Khushi, I'm going to go pack your bags right away!"

She got up and practically ran. I did try to stop her, but she was just too fast.

"I'll go get Chote's clothes ready," Di said and she got up and left.

Arnavji and I sighed; we couldn't believe this was happening – the part that Payal and Di were being so giddy and childish about this.

Dai soon got up because the baby was crying through the baby monitor. She had planned that in about two weeks she'd come up with a name because her and jeejaji simply couldn't agree with one.

Everyone finished up and left to do whatever they had to do. Hari Prakash cleaned up and Arnavji and I went to our room. We found our luggage waiting and ready for us, and Di and Payal grinning like the Cheshire cat.

I'm afraid to know what these two did!
