Di came down the stairs with jeejaji by her side, her large baby bump, on display. She looked absolutely gorgeous in her red sari!

Nani helped her sit down and the rasums began. Many relatives and close friends were invited , as well as Amma and Babuji along with Payal's parents.

The day went by and Di wanted everyone to dance. They put music on and Payal grabbed Akash's hand and dragged him over and danced. Dai began dancing with her husband, and Mami danced while Mama just stood there, feeling a bit embarrassed. As for Nani, she didn't waste a second when Payal and Akash asked her to join them.

I stood and watched from the side, clapping my hands, when Arnav bumped my shoulder.

"You should go," he said, loud enough for only me to hear. "I haven't seen you dance in a while."

Well, that was true. Ever since we got married, I somewhat dialed back on the dancing. Asides from not having that much free time anymore, I also didn't want to give people the opportunity to say something. It's not that I completely stopped it, Viren and I would sometimes dance when we would meet up, but contests and stuff like that were just no longer my interests.

"I think I'll pass," I said.

"Why? Afraid you'll freeze up," he smirked lightly, teasing.

"Nope... just don't feel like it," I causally shrugged.

"You of all people don't feel like it?"

I shook head.

Oh... I know! "I'll dance... if you dance with me," I said, batting my eyelashes.

Arnav looked at me for a moment. "You really must be someone else," he frowned.

Ugh, don't look cute when you frown!

I frowned back at him. The last time we danced together was way back during our honeymoon. He doesn't normally dance - especially around his family. He's the man in charge and he doesn't act the same way he does around the family the way he does with me.

It was only a few months ago that I had asked him about it.

"The thing is Khushi," he said, "I don't really express... my feelings... around the others." He caressed my cheek. "It's only you that I can open up too."

"Really?"

He nodded.

At that moment, I felt really special. What happened next is pretty obvious and details aren't necessary.

I snapped back to reality. "No, I'm still the same person."

Arnav was about to respond when Di called out to me.

"Yes Di," I replied.

"Will you please dance?"

Great; how am I supposed to reject now? On top of that, reject a pregnant woman? I looked at Arnav for help, but he smirked away. Ugh! I hate how he always gets things his way, one way or another.

"Fine Di," I said, "I'll dance."

I went into the crowd and danced with the others when Di spoke.

"Now, ladies and gentlemen, my sister-in-law will perform for us, so give it up for KHUSHI!"

Wait, what?!

Everybody else stood aside and clapped. I got nervous and confused and looked at everyone.

"So Khushi," Di continued, "What song will it be?"

Song? I can't even get this through my head, how am I supposed to do this?

I looked at Arnav for help, but he was too busy enjoying himself. I scowled at him and he only smirked in return.

Fine! Be like that!

"Di, I know what song I'll dance to."

I walked over to the DJ we had hired and told him which song. I walked back and waited for the song to begin.

The song came on and I danced away to it. I chose the song Aaja Nachle, one of the very first songs I used to dance to, back when I used to perform in school.

Jhanak Jhanak Jhan

Khanak Khanak Khan

Jhanak Jhanak Khanak Khanak Khan Khan

Mera Jhumka Utha Ke Laaya Yaar Ve

Jo Gira Tha Barielly Ke Bazaar Mein

Main To Thumka Laga Ke Sharma Gayi

Boli Ghoom Kar Bata De Ke Main Aa Gayi'

I danced away and acted along with it. I went over to Di.

'Maine Galti Kari Thi

Meri Nathni Padhi Thi

Hmmm...Aaa...

Maine Galti Kari Thi

Meri Nathni Padhi Thi

Ki Sone Mai Usko Ranga Gayi

Mere Rangaa Ke Atariyaa Pe Aa Gayi

Mauhalle Mien Kaisi Maar-A-Maar Hai

Bole Mochi Bhi Khud Ko Sunaar Hai'

I moved to the song and noticed how Arnav was looking at me. He got me into this mess so now it's time to mess back.

'Mai Toh Kamsin Kali Thi Zara Tanke Chali Thi Haye...

(I stood in front of him and then turned away at the last word of the line)

Ho...Mai Toh Kamsin Kali Thi Zara Tanke Chali Thi

Aage Jaake Chane Pe Balkha Gaayi

Koi Jaane Jawaani Kab Aa Gayi

(I pointed at him, with a questioning look)

Mere Sadke Zamane Ki Kamayi Re

(I put my hand on my forehead, my arm leaning on Arnav's shoulders)

Mujhe Deta Udhari Halwai Re (i bumped him away with my hip)'

The song ended eventually and so did my dance. Everyone clapped and I bowed down. I looked at Arnav with a smug look of my own. The way he looked at me, I knew he was ready to get me, just waiting for the moment to pounce at me like predator did to its prey. And seeing the dangerous look in his eyes made shiver run up my spine, though I had to control myself and not let anyone notice.

I casually made my way over to him, but I let my eyes speak my mind. If he intended on chasing me, then he would have to try. As I walked past him, I whispered loud enough from him to only here.

"Come and get me," and I turned back to look at him for only a moment, biting my lip.

His eyes slightly widened, and I knew I had him.

It's game time baby.
