Hmm... I think its about time I go check on my husband.

After having excused himself with the excuse of a video conference, not once did Arnav make his presence known again. I'm not surprised by this at all, especially given Di's idea of tonight's form of entertainment.

Heading on up to our room, I found him sitting on the sofa by the window, working away on his laptop.

Time for a little fun.

I made my way over to him, my arms crossed. "Done with your video conference already," I teased.

Arnav glanced up at me, his annoyance very obvious. "Hmm."

"Wow! That was quick! So... are you just hiding now?"

This time he scowled at me and I couldn't stop myself from laughing, despite seeing his bulging eyes grow even bigger from irritation.

"Sorry, sorry," but I continued to laugh, despite covering my mouth and trying to get myself to stop.

But it's just hard! I mean he's behaving like a kid!

"It's not that funny," he grumbled, turning his attention back to his laptop.

"Oh I don't know about that! There's different types of funny things in the world, whether it's getting Dai or Di to be blushing about being pregnant at the same time, or your embarrassment of having to sing or dance," I chuckled.

"I- wait what?!"

"They're not really pregnant, Payal and I were only teasing them," I quickly explained. "But it was fun for a change - teasing them and teaching them a lesson," I smiled proudly.

"Oh? And what lesson is that?"

"That us Raizada bahus aren't any less than the Raziada sisters," I said proudly, holding my hand up like I was some show girl.

"Is that so," he smirked teasingly.

"Of course! In fact, we're not any less than you Raizada boys either," I smirked.

Arnav's eyebrows shot up with surprise. "Oh really," he asked, in total disbelief.

I scoffed at him. "Yes, really! Now come out of your hiding and join your family downstairs."

With a twitch of my lips, I turned to walk away, when suddenly Arnav grabbed my wrist and turned me to him.

"Arnav-!"

"You really think you're better than me," he asked, smirking ever so arrogantly.

"You really think that's something you need to ask," I scoffed, rolling my eyes.

Tread cautiously hubby....

"Oh really?"

"Really," I said confidently.

I mean it....

"In that case, shall we place a bet?"

Oh! I really meant it hubby, you should've tread cautiously.

"A bet," I asked, acting totally innocent.

"Yes, a bet."

I pretended to think about it for a moment. "Mm.... and what would I get for winning the bet?"

"Winning? Getting a little bit ahead of yourself, aren't you, wife?"

Freeing my wrist from his hold, I wrapped my arms around his neck. "Not in the slightest, hubby."

Arnav only smirked at me, but if I were him, I would go running for the hills.

"So? What do I get if I win," I asked.
