My dearest, [Y/N].
I know what I want to give you for Valentine's Day this year, but if I were to say these words out loud I would mess them up. I would get nervous and turn into a stuttering mess.
You've never cared if I stuttered. You've never cared or criticized me when I mess up. No, you're far too sweet and loving to judge me like that. You're far too sweet and caring, you deserve this to be perfect, which is why I'm writing you this letter rather than saying this in person.
When we were in kindergarten, you gave me a ring pop and said it made us married. We were fake married for a whole month.
I made myself a promise that I would give you a real ring once we were adults. Do me the honour of accepting this real-life ring pop.
