The One Where Hero!Denki Kaminari Comforts [Y/N] [L/N] After A Sexual Assualt.

Denki never really noticed how you isolated yourself. You'd been doing it for so long. You'd gotten so used to it. You'd gotten so good at it. How could you blame him? No one else noticed either.

But he slowly started to notice little things. How couldn't he? He was your best friend and maybe one day you would have been more.

He noticed how when he tries to hold your hand you would pull away. You would act like you were thirsty. You would immediately pull your hand from his grasp and reach for your cup. You would take a little sip and leave your cup full for the rest of the night.

He noticed how when he wrapped his arm around you, you would find some way to remove it. He would see how you subtly cringed.

He noticed how you wouldn't let yourself have more than half a cup of alcohol. You only really got a class to make it seem like you were drinking, but you only took a sip every so often. 

He noticed how you wouldn't let yourself be alone with a male. From working late on a case at the office to just ridding an elevator together. Hanging out, or getting a ride home. 

Despite noticing this he never brought it up. He suspected why you acted like this, but he never knew how to talk to you about it.

He never knew how until he saw your office light on late at night. He never knew how until he saw your crying figure. 

"[Y/N]? Why are you here so late? What's wrong?"

You looked up at him from where he stood in the doorway and quickly wiped your tears off on the back of your hands.

"What are you doing here?"

"I was leaving when I saw your office light on."

You tried not to, but more tears fell. As you wiped them away more replaced them. After months of keeping them held in you couldn't keep them in anymore.

"Hey, hey, hey, why are you crying? Tell me what's wrong, I'll fix it. Let me fix it for you."

Denki lightly whispered to you. His voice was so calming it almost made you stop crying. Almost.

"You can't fix it, Denki! You just can't! Okay? No one would even believe me."

He slowly approached you noticing how you tensed up with everything step he took. He got on his knees in front of you, being careful not to touch you.

"It's okay, you can tell me. I'll believe you."

For the first time in months, you let Denki touch you. You collapse into his shoulder and let it all out.

"It- It was when I worked that case with [Hero's Name]. It was my- my first time putting away a villain, so we got drinks and celebrated. I-I know I shouldn't have gone to his place alone, but he's such a respected hero, so I went."

Denki slowly put his hand on your back and rubbed it to comfort you. He clenched his jaw, knowing where this was going.

"I drank more than I should have. I-I tried leaving... But he wouldn't let me. He told me it would improve my career. I told him not to, b-but he didn't listen. "

"I believe you, okay? We can go to the authorities. We'll get him locked up."

"No one would believe me Denki! He's a well-respected hero."

"So we make a list of everyone he's worked within the last year. We'll find other girls. Other girls like you. I believe you, I'll make everyone else believe you too."
