Day 38

Two is better than one.

For you, what is a friend? A friend is someone whom you can lean on to in times of depression and stress, a friend is a key to a closed door, a friend is like a guardian angel and etc. All of us have friends in life, you may have a million of friends but in reality you can only count those true and real friends that you have , "A man of many companions may come to ruin, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother" Proverbs 18:24.

God simply tells us that no man can live alone all by himself that's why he created humans for a purpose, just take a glimpse of a heartwarming story of David and Jonathan (1 Samuel 20), Jonathan pave way to make David safe from his fathers plan to kill David. How touching their story is, Jonathan didn't want David to be hurt, he love David more than himself, their brotherly love for each other prove that true friendship exist. "Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up!" Ephesians 4:9-10

Value your friends while they are still alive, make them happy and filled their lives with joy, and please do acknowledge that without God, you can never have a friend in this world. Thank God for the gift of friendship he had in you.

Prayer:

Lord God, thank you for the friendship that we had, I am bonded by your love and thank you for creating my friends, for without you I may have never known them. Amen.
