Flee from Idolatry.
Idolatry comes in many shapes and forms, it can be a person or thing that you are deeply devoted in like rosaries, social media sites, saints carved out of wood, crushes, being a fan of a superstar and etc. without even realizing that you are not worshipping anymore the Lord because of your Idol.
Jesus sends a lot of warnings in the Bible about idolatry--- "Those who worship these gods are blind and ignorant , and they will be disgraced" this verse is according to Isaiah 44:9, the Lord simply emphasizes that everyone who worships an idol will be greatly humiliated. Some of these idols will close our eyes and minds to the truth if we will not do something about it. There are some Spirit that came from God and there are some claiming that they are from God, don't worship even the Person in whom God sends for you to know the truth but worship God alone.
Give up your idols now and start to fix your eyes on the Lord. Be high on God and not to your selfish addictions,flee thyself from idolatry.
Prayer:
Lord God, I will shout for joy for helping me to flee from idolatry, thank you for saving me. Amen.
