365 Days with God (Book One)

Day 117

As long as you know that God is for you, it doesn't matter who is against you.

We all know that God is for us. It is not just a contract, it is for forever. Many are against us but nobody or no one could break us. As we can see the news today, many Christians are being persecuted because they proclaim the word of God and simply because we believe in Christ. They question us a lot about God's existence,Even science couldn't even answer or explain all of the questions and phenomenon in this world, only God can. Some say's to see is to believe, but we have faith, for us to see is to hope.

"He is not real" as someone says, but what we have right now is faith in the Lord, True faith means to believe without seeing. Although we can't see him, but through faith in him we believe that he is true and we smile because he lives in us for eternity. The very first persecution happens in the time when the organized Roman government took place in Nero (the fifth and final Roman Emperor of the Julio-Claudian dynasty) in 64 AD after the Great Fire of Rome. Many Christians lost their lives, they are accused of doing evil deeds and many are being punished, even the Bible at that time is being burned down and hide but still it survives until this age of time. Many liberals despise Christianity.

Although many don't believe in God, we should respect one another's belief so that it would not bring so much chaos. Don't argue with the unbelievers but love them and respect their decision. Today we should have faith that is rooted in God. What if you ride on a bus then a man points a gun at you and ask this question, "Are you willing to die for your faith?", what will be your answer? are you willing to die for Christ or not? Therefore, suffer just as the way Jesus did. Always remember that Christ died for you and sacrificed for you. Don't deny him, accept him over and over again. Repent, say sorry, and grow in him spiritually. It doesn't mean that if a situation doesn't work out , we should blame God. Remember. we make decisions everyday and that decisions must be rooted in Christ not with the evil. It doesn't matter who is against us anyway, as long as we have God, we are contented enough.

"If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself? For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels." (Luke 9:23-26)

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, I know that even if many are against me, I will endure because you are there for me. I am not a fool to have faith in you, I am willing to die for you. Theres a voice within me that tells me to fight for you, to remain in you and thank you for always guarding my heart and leading my body and soul to do your will. Amen.
