365 Days with God (Book One)

Day 41

He that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body.

Teen pregnancy of today is very rampant.The percentage of people engaging in early sex is getting higher than ever, they say premarital sex is the key to a long and lasting relationship but they are wrong, it may cause harm to people, just like the passing of HIV to one another and ofcourse AIDS. Sad to know, a lot people today doesn't value enough what God has something to say about it,"Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth fornication sinneth against his own body" -1 Corinthians 6:18.

Our body is a temple of God, you don't have to be a religious person to stick with this truth, some of us are not aware of it and some of us don't really care at all. We have no right either to judge people who are depriving themselves in premarital sex. It's their choice, and all we have to do is to abstain ourselves in it and to think of it as a sacred union of a man and a woman.


Prayer:

Lord Jesus, thank you for making my body a temple for you, I will use it not to destroy myself but to use it for your glory and I will wait for the perfect time to engage in sex. Amen.
