The one who can defeat the world is the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
As servants of God, we defeat false prophets because we are fully armored with God's Spirit of Truth and not Spirit of Error. We must appeal to ourselves the courage to face the world, we do not speak worldly matters anymore because we receive , we obey and we do what God pleases him and not the world. "If we declare that Jesus is the Son of God, we live in union with God and God lives in union with us. And we ourselves know and believe the love which God has for us."(1 John 4:15-16 TEV).
The Spirit who is in us is greater than the one who is in the world. Our conscience may condemn us but God is greater than our conscience, what God commands is that we believe in his Son Jesus Christ. Those who obey God's commands live in union with God and God lives in union with them. "Who can defeat the world? Only the person who believes that Jesus is the Son of God." (1 John 5:5 TEV)
Prayer:
Lord God, I have defeated the world because I'm in union with you. Thank you for giving me courage and victory over the world. Amen.
