You stared down at your phone as you stood in the airport. You anxiously tapped your foot on the floor as you wait to see your beautiful girlfriend face to face for the very first time.

You've counted down every single day to get to where you are now.

You're head over heels for her, even though you've only seen her through your phone and laptop screen over the last six months.

But the happiness you find in that is how many times Lisa has said she feels the exact same way.

Which is what's led you both to this morning. It's about nine am and the airport is crowded, full of people arriving to board flights and people getting off of planes.

Some are bumping into you as they pass by, but you couldn't care less.

Your only focus is on one thing and one thing only and that's the excitement you feel about seeing your girlfriend face to face for the first time.

She's going to be here any minute now, her plane landing anytime at this point.

You're so excited, you're not even sure how to handle it!

You've got a lot of plans ready for today. She's coming to your hometown for the next week and you've got a lot of different and exciting things planned out, although you've also got some room in each day for things she wants to do as well.

And as excited as you are to show her around, you also know she's going to be exhausted after her long flight.

She's going to stay at your house.

She trusts you that much already and you'd be doing the same if you visited her in Korea.

You plan on treating her to dinner and going back home from here so she can sleep off the jet lag she's sure to have after her long flight.

Suddenly, you snapped out of your thoughts as you heard the announcement over the airport speakers saying the flight she's on had just arrived.

Your phone chimed and your heart began to pound as you read the text.

Guess where I am ;)

You smiled brightly and stood on your tallest tiptoes to look all around for her.

The sound of the chatter from people around you faded. You could hear your heartbeat in your ears and your hands were shaking as you looked everywhere for her.

"Y/N!" You heard someone yell from nearby and when you looked toward where the voice was coming from, you saw her across the room.

You both froze for a moment. You were both in shock and awe that the day had finally come.

This was it.

At last, you'd broken the distance.

"Lisa!" You yelled excitedly and she ran across the room, watching as you did the same so you could meet each other halfway.

When you were close enough, she pulled you into her arms. She spun you around, grinning from ear to ear as you held onto each other for dear life.

"Finally," she whispered and brushed her fingers through your hair before pulling back a little.

She kept one arm around you while she used her other hand to cup your cheek.

"Wow..." she whispered in awe.

"What?"

"I just don't get it. How are you so beautiful? You're even more beautiful in person."

You smiled through the tears in your eyes.

"Don't cry. You'll make me cry!" She laughed as she put her other hand against your cheek.

"I'm sorry. I'm just so happy. I've been waiting for this day and I can't believe it's here. I can't believe that you're here, standing in front of me. You're so beautiful, Lili."

She put her forehead against yours, her shiny eyes locked with yours.

"It feels so surreal. I'm sorry I couldn't be here sooner."

"Don't be. I understand." You said.

She's already explained everything about her life to you. Once she knew she could truly trust you, she became an open book.

She hasn't regretted it once since then. It was months ago and you haven't told a single soul about your relationship, although you wonder if it'll be found out now.

But you don't care. You honestly couldn't care less about that stuff.

You love her for who she is.

This girl that's standing right in front of you, finally. The one that sends you good morning and good night texts. The one that tells you how beautiful are and despite being so far apart all this time, she's the only one who's ever made you feel so beautiful.

"I know you're tired, so we can go back to my place if you want."

"Okay. But we need breakfast first. I'm so hungry. How about you?"

"I'm hungry." You smiled and she nodded before pushing her lips onto yours, giving you your first sweet kiss; your first of many.

"Show me the best spot in town, my treat."

She intertwined your fingers and your heart fluttered with joy.

You swung your intertwined hands back and forth as she got her bags and you led her to your car, driving off to get some breakfast at your favorite spot.

You laughed the whole way and you drove with one hand on the wheel and the other in hers.

You've never been so happy.

You can only wonder what the next seven days by her side will be like.

You know they're bound to be full of love and endless happiness.
