"Baby," Lisa whispered against your forehead before she began to pepper a few kisses across your skin. "It's time to wake up."

You groaned and slowly opened your still tired eyes. You were confused right away because it was still dark outside, meaning it couldn't be time to wake up just yet.

"What time is it?"

"It's about five am."

"Then it's not time to get up yet." You grumbled and tried to pull the covers over your head.

Lisa laughed and pulled them back.

"Okay, I lied. It's not time to get up. But I have to head out to practice in a few and I wanted to steal a kiss or two before I go and tell you to have a good day."

"Okay."  You said and cracked a sleepy smile at her.

She leaned in and kissed you on your lips.

It was short but sweet, leaving her with a sparkle in her eyes and a happy feeling in her heart.

"Have a great day, Lili. I love you."

"Okay." She said before kissing your cheek. "See you whenever I get home."

"Wait, what?" You frowned and wrapped your arms around her. "You can't go."

"Darling, I have to." She giggled.

"Not without saying it back."

"Saying what back?" She asked, staring at you with furrowed eyebrows.

"You know what," you whined. "Lisa, say it. Please?" You asked sadly.

"Baby," she laughed as she wrapped her arms around you. "You know that I love you."

"But you didn't say it when I said it." You pouted and she chuckled as she leaned into peck your lips a few times.

"That's because I was pranking you." She said, booping your nose.

"That's not nice."

"You prank me all the time. I had to get you back somehow." She explained and kissed your nose.

"I guess you're right." You said and she nodded her head.

"I have to get going." She sighed sadly before leaning in to peck your lips a few times. "I love you so much though. Don't know when I'll be home, so don't feel like you have to wait up for me."

"But you know I probably will." You said and watched her eyes light up. "I love you too, Lili; so much. Have a wonderful day. You deserve it."

"Thank you, sweet girl. Same to you." She said and gave you a quick hug. "Now go back to sleep. Have sweet dreams."

She tucked you in and kissed your head before walking out the door, hoping she'd be back by your side in no time.
