Lisa couldn't hold back the bright smile on her face or the feeling of intense pride that she felt as she watched your newest movie that just came out today.

You have your cheek on her shoulder and your eyes on her rather than on the film.

You, obviously, already know everything that happens, and, honestly, as much fun as you had filming this movie and getting to live out such a fun experience, you're much more intrigued by watching her.

You're being showered with love and praise from fans and critics over this role, just as you usually are.

But the opinion that always means the most to you is that of your girlfriend.

So you're happy to spend the next hour and forty-five minutes watching her rather than the film, just to see her reaction over every scene.

"Are you enjoying it so far?" You asked as you kissed her cheek.

"It's already one of my favorite movies ever." She smiled and put her head on yours, holding you a little tighter.

You looked at the tv for a quick second and began to speak again as you remembered the scene that was approaching, only a few seconds away.

"This upcoming scene was so hard for me to film." You said and Lisa quickly turned to look at you.

"What? Why?" She asked, looking concerned, almost.

"I don't want to spoil anything!" You chuckled. "You'll see. It's starting in only a second."

This particular film is very different from the ones you've done in the past.

It tackles some difficult subjects and in this upcoming scene, your character has a major breakdown over her struggling mental health and intense sadness.

You didn't want to tell Lisa because you don't want to spoil anything about this film because you are very proud of the role you had in it.

But maybe you should have.

Because when she saw you breaking down and watched the tears fall rapidly from your red and teary eyes, her bottom lip started to tremble and tears began to slip down her cheeks.

When you saw her crying you started to worry and you quickly grabbed the remote to pause the movie so you could focus on her.

"Baby?" You frowned as you rubbed her shoulder comfortingly.

"I'm sorry." She mumbled as you wiped away her tears. "I just can't control it. I hate seeing you cry."

There was a little tug at your heart as you realized why she was crying.

"Lili, it's okay. It's just a movie."

"But you're crying in it! You're breaking down. How am I supposed to hold it together? It breaks my heart to see you cry. You know seeing you cry makes me cry."

You put your arms around her and pulled her in for a big, comforting hug.

She happily hugged you back as a couple more tears fell down her cheeks.

The sound of your whimpers and sobs coming to an end on the tv made her do the same, helping to soothe her and her aching heart.

"I should've warned you."

"It wouldn't have changed anything. You'd still cry. I'd be crying right now even if you had warned me." She said as you rubbed her back.

"Well, don't cry anymore, baby. It makes me sad. That scene is over, so only show me that big beautiful smile."

You pinched her cheeks and she grinned brightly, warming your heart.

"That's better. I love you very much."

"I love you too." She said and pecked your lips. "Turn the movie back on. I want to watch my girl shine some more."
