"What's going on with you today? Why are you so quiet and sad?" Lisa asked as she curled up in bed with you.

You were laying down under the covers, pretending to be deep in thought and guilty looking.

"You can't tell me there's nothing wrong, either. I've only been home for a little while but I know something is wrong. Tell me what's bothering you."

She pulled you into her arms and hooked her fingers under your chin so your eyes would meet.

"There's something I need to talk to you about."

"Okay. Well, I'm listening," She said as she caressed your cheek softly and reassuringly.

"Last night... something happened."

She knew you'd gone out with your friends for a bit last night so her mind wandered quickly.

"Is everything alright? Are you alright, baby? Did something happen?"

You nodded wordlessly and, immediately, her heart sank.

"Tell me what happened."

She thought someone had done something to you and that thought angered her.

If that were the case, Lisa was ready to jump out of bed to defend you and take care of it.

But that wasn't it at all.

"A girl kissed me."

She heard the words that left your lips but it took a few seconds for them to sink in.

"Did you kiss back?"

"What? No!"

She clenched her jaw.

Because despite you not kissing this said girl back, your lips had been touched by someone else's, and you didn't tell her this last night when it all happened.

"You didn't tell me this when you got home? I was awake. I waited up for you. You had the opportunity to do so!"

"Lisa, it's not like that. Please hear me out." You pleaded as you took her hand into yours.

"I don't know, Y/N." She sighed as she gripped her hair. "I don't know if I feel like talking to you or hearing whatever you have to say."

She looked back into your eyes, this time with a serious expression.

"I get that you didn't kiss her back but you didn't tell me about it."

"Well, that's the thing I want to explain to you." You said.

"It better be good. Because, otherwise, I'll walk out of here and sleep in the guest room tonight. I'm serious."

"I know." You said. "But I couldn't tell you until now. When this all happened, by the time I got ready to tell you, you had already left for work."

"What are you talking about?" She asked in confusion. "I didn't leave until six am."

"Exactly. See, the girl who kissed me... was in my dreams."

"What?"

"It was a dream, Lisa. I was kissed by another girl in my dream."

"Are you kidding me, Y/N?" Lisa yelled as she grabbed a pillow from behind her and hit you on the arm with it. "That's not funny! You scared the hell out of me!"

You giggled as she continued to hit you with the pillow before dropping it onto the bed.

"You tricked me. You scared me." She pouted.

"I'm sorry. I was just joking around. I swear, it was only a dream. When I went out with my friends, we just went out to grab some food. We never did anything else. The only girl that kissed me last night was you before I left and when I got home."

You felt a little relief upon seeing a smile tug at her lips.

"Have I told you how much I hate pranks? I hate them." She said. "You fooled me again. I didn't like it."

"But you love me." You said as you kissed the corners of her lips. "And I love you so much. I'd never hurt you like that. I promise, my lips will never be kissed by anyone but you."

"No one else? Ever?"

"Not ever." You smiled as you shared a sweet kiss and then a long hug.

"I love you. Please, don't ever scare me like that again." She asked as she held onto you tightly.

"Okay, my love. I promise. Never again." You said, holding her just as tightly.
