"It sure is coming down out there." You mumbled as you stared out the window, watching as the rain continued to pour. You felt the cushion dip before Lisa placed her chin on your shoulder to watch the rain with you. "I'm happy neither of us had anywhere to be today."

"Me too. I always love spending time with you." She chuckled and kissed the spot behind your ear. Her heart felt warm when you hummed and leaned your head back against her chest. "I'm up for another movie if you are, my love."

"Sure. There's nothing else to do, so why not?"

You both moved to lay back against the sofa again. You expected her to turn something that you both like on, but she handed you the remote instead. "I picked the last one, you pick this one. I'm fine with anything."

It was too good of an offer to refuse, so you excitedly took the remote from her hand and started to look around for the one film you've been dying to see. You haven't watched it yet though, although you've had the chance before. You've been waiting so you could see it with Lisa. You figured she'd love it just as much as you.

Turning it on, the intro started and you leaned your head on her shoulder. You felt her fingers brush along your thighs softly. You were so content.

Only ten minutes in and you were already hooked. Lisa, however, wasn't feeling it. You could tell when she let out a long sigh that it was one of boredom. You furrowed your eyebrows and lifted your head from her shoulder to look at her.

"Something wrong?"

"I don't really like this. Can we find something else?" She asked as she leaned her cheek on her hand, unknowingly frustrating you.

"But you said you were fine with anything."

"Yeah but... not this. It's boring, Y/N."

You huffed and folded your arms. A small pout formed on your lips. It wasn't to give her in hopes that you could change her mind, it was genuine. "Why are you being like this? I never say anything like that about the movies you choose!"

She scoffed and nodded toward the tv. "That's because I never choose boring ones!"

You rolled your eyes and threw the remote on her lap. "Fine. You do whatever you want. I'll just go watch this in the bedroom by myself! It's not like we're spending time together for the first time in days or that I waited to see this movie with you because I thought you'd like it, too!"

You got up and started to make your way to the stairs, but Lisa grabbed your wrist gently in her hand to prevent you from doing so. "Don't go." She whispered as she leaned her cheek on your shoulder. "I'm sorry. I told you that we could watch anything you wanted and I meant that. Even if I don't like it, It's still an opportunity to spend time with you and that's all that really matters to me."

She kissed the back of your neck and you relaxed into her touch.

"I didn't know that you waited to watch it with me. That's so sweet, my love." She said as she caressed your side with her fingertips.

"It's kind of important to me. I've been wanting to see it but I didn't wanna see it without you." You mumbled, trying to hide the skip in your heartbeat and the smile forming on your face as she kissed your shoulder blade softly.

"I'm sorry. I should've been more considerate. Let me make it up to you. We'll watch this one and any other one you want."

You turned around and she instantly laid her forehead against yours. "You said it was boring."

"We were only ten minutes into it. There's still a good eighty minutes to go. It'll get better. And, even if it doesn't, I won't complain one bit because I'll be spending time with you and that's all I want."

This time, it was impossible to hide your smile. She kissed you softly, smiling against your lips when she noticed your sparkling eyes. "I'd like that!"

She grinned and put her arm around you to lead you back to the couch. She threw the blanket over you both and pulled you as close as she could. Your head fell against her chest and you could hear each and every beat of her heart. You felt much better now, and you looked forward to all the time you still have left to spend with her.
