Suddenly, a bright orb of light consumed the sky. Miyuki shielded her eyes the best she could and her heart clenched with worry for Izuku the brighter it got. There was no way for her to see whether Zin had taken One for All or not, but it soon became clear to her when the light dimmed down and she saw two figures falling down, one of them surrounded by a familiar chartreuse energy.
Miyuki got rid of her bow and arrow immediately before running up to catch her best friend. Slabs of light were left in her wake as she sped up to the green-haired boy, hand stretched out."Izuku!" Miyuki called out, catching him by the scruff of his costume before hoisting him into her arms.
Izuku's eyes slowly peeled open, his head cradled against Miyuki's chest as he looked towards Zin through his blurry vision.
"It... wasn't stolen..." he murmured, watching the silver-haired villain's limp form fall freely. Miyuki looked down at him, worry creasing her brows together. "But... Zin... Akihiko..." His eyes rolled to the back of his head as he fell unconscious.
Her breath hitched in her throat, something like a switch being flipped in the back of her mind as her gaze drifted to the villain. Her heart stirred within her, a faint drum beating behind the back of her mind, its pressures sending a bolt of pain through her skull as her lips parted slightly -
"Aki..." she heard herself whisper.
Zin's hand twitched slightly, as if aroused from unconsciousness by the sound of his name from her voice.
'...A... A-chi!'
'O-Oka-san! Oka-san! Miyu-Chan said her first word...!'
His eyes snapped open.
Miyuki and Shoto carried the three injured males back down and gently set them on the ground. The half-and-half girl knelt between Izuku and Katsuki, lips pursed as she took in their terrible conditions.
"Bakugo! Midoriya! Endeavour!" Shoto exclaimed worriedly. Izuku stirred, raising his bleeding head.
"Ka-Chan..." he whispered as he struggled to push himself up. His arms were bleeding and coloured a dark purple, no doubt having broken the bones in both from using one hundred percent of his power. "Yuki-Chan..."
"I'm fine, Izuku," Miyuki spoke up, gently resting a hand on his back. "Katsuki will be alright, too. Shoto-Kun's just finished treating his injuries..."
She turned to Katsuki and her chest tightened when she saw beads of sweat dotting his forehead and listened to his heavy breathing. Shoto's frost had spread to the rest of his body in a sheen, fairly thick layer. It should've been working by now - why wasn't it?
"Hang in there," Shoto told Izuku as he continued trying to get up. "I'll treat your injuries right away -"
A strange noise sounded behind them. Her muscles tight with apprehension, Miyuki turned to look over her shoulder and witnessed a sight that nearly crumbled the hope within her, for there Zin was, holding his head high while black spikes encased in white and blue fire held up his gradually healing body from colliding with the ground.
"Finally..." he hummed. His silver hair dropped slightly in front of his face as he looked down to survey the beaten heroes. Streaks of blue light surrounded his form. "I've taken... too long as it is -"
"Everyone!"
A swirl of bright yellow energy struck Zin out of nowhere, shattering his spikes and sending him crashing down. Miyuki looked up and her face flooded with relief when she saw none other than Nejire floating there with her Quirk. Another figure skid to a halt by her side, blowing back strands of her hair, but her heart lifted with hope when she saw her fellow class representative arrive on the battlefield.
