After hearing of the offer her father received, the following days soon became a whirlwind for Miyuki as she got ready for this once in a lifetime trip. She was especially excited when Izuku called her, asking her if she would like to go with All Might and him since there was an extra ticket. She didn't see why not, so she agreed to go with them.

The days passing until the trip seemed to pass agonisingly slow. Miyuki couldn't wait to get to the island – after all, she was going to be walking the same ground her mother walked on and her father, too, once.

If papa and Oka-san met on I-Island, that must mean she was a scientist, right? Miyuki thought to herself.

A few days prior to the trip, Mirai sat Miyuki down on the front porch of their home. It was there he disclosed to her his meeting with Sakura sixteen years ago at one of the annual expos. She was a student at the academy there and he was visiting on behalf of his school. He didn't go into much detail of what happened exactly and she could understand that. He had parts of his life he deserved to keep private, right?

Yet she couldn't help but wonder to herself as she looked out the window, sitting across from Izuku and a sleeping All Might on the private plane - which places did they visit together? Was she going to stand in the very place they first saw each other and not know it? Did her mother's family live on the island? Would there be pictures of Sakura for her to see finally?

And yet...

Where did she go? What happened to her? She asked herself, frowning. Why won't Papa tell me what happened to her?

If her mother had been around, a lot about her life would be different, wouldn't it? She never would have gone to the orphanage, never had to endure the Shizukas. If whatever happened to Sakura did not happen, she could have lived an entirely different life.

Now that she thought about it more deeply, before the orphanage and before her time living on the streets, she had no recollections of her childhood beyond those times. There, in that part of her mind, there was darkness.

Just what happened during that time of her childhood? Why couldn't she remember anything from there?

Miyuki pursed her lips, her heart aching with soft discomfort. Could it be...

Did she... abandon me there? Miyuki wondered.

"All Might! All Might! All Might! All Might!"

"What's the matter, young Midoriya?" The number one hero asked as he rubbed the sleep from his eyes. Miyuki, jolted from her thoughts, looked at the two of them.

"We can see it. Look!" Izuku exclaimed as he pressed his face against the small window. "The artificial moving city inhabited by 10,000 scientists, I-Island. It's like a dream come true to be able to go to I-Island at the beginning of summer vacation! Isn't this great, Yuki-Chan?!"

"It is," Miyuki responded with a bright smile before turning to look out the window as well. "It's a lot bigger than I imagined, too."

"I didn't think you'd be that excited, perhaps young Sasaki," All Might responded as he sat back down. "I'm glad you both came together."

Before embarking on this trip with them, the half-and-half girl shared with Izuku the information she'd learnt about her mother and I-Island. He was happy for her - she was learning more about her family. Although, he was concerned for her as well since she didn't know what happened to her.
