"Wow you can actually sing." Bakugo laughed as he and izuku walked out of the gym.
"Yeah...guess so." Izuku muttered as he watched the sun outside set.
"Let's go, im taking you to my place now." Bakugo looked around before beckoning izuku to follow him.
"Are you sure about this man? I think I'll be fine at my house. I'll just have to be more vigilant." Izuku tells Bakugo as the two walk to Bakugo's car.
"I'm sure bro, my mom would love to have you anyways. She's had a soft spot for you since we were young you know that." Bakugo started the car and backed out of his driving spot.
"I guess...can we at least stop by my place so I can talk to my mom about it?" Izuku asks Bakugo.
"Are you gonna tell her the truth?" Bakugo asks as they turn out of the school.
"No...I'm gonna tell her there's a project we have to do that I'm gonna stay at your place for a few days to do it." Izuku admits with Bakugo scoffing.
"Whatever man, just grab the shit you need to change and stuff and come back out okay?" Bakugo says while looking at the green haired boy who just nods.
Bakugo drives up to Izuku's house and izuku gets out, he looks around before rushing into the house.
"Welcome home izuku." Inko smiles and waves at the boy as he walks into the living room.
"Hey mom, I have a project with Bakugo that'll take a while to finish, is it okay if I stay over his place for a few days?" Izuku asks his mom while tapping his foot on the ground.
This didn't go unoticed as inko glanced down at his feet.
'Guess he's anxious.' The woman thinks to herself before nodding.
"Yeah of course. When will you go over there?" Inko asks as Izuku turns and starts to walk to his room.
"I'm gonna go now as soon as I grab my stuff, Bakugo is outside waiting for me." Izuku walks in his room leaving inko alone.
'What's up with him...it's like...he reverted?'
Izuku grabbed his tooth brush and other essentials along with a bunch of clothes and shoved them all in his empty football duffel bag.
He felt himself fighting the need to cry, he didn't know why. Maybe the anxiety of the situation really was getting to him.
He finished packing up and walked out of his room and toward Inko who was standing near the front door.
"I'll see you soon mom, I love you." Izuku said while walking up and hugging Inko.
"I love you too sweetie. Remember you can call me whenever if you need to talk." Izuku backed up and inko patted him on his head.
Izuku smiled and nodded.
"Of course." He said while opening the front door.
"Bye mom!" Izuku called while walking down their front yard.
"Bye!"
Izuku got into Bakugo's car and his lifeless expression returned.
"Got everything?" Bakugo asks the boy who nods while throwing his bag behind him into the back seat.
Izuku was once again stuck in his own head, even though it was a petty threat from someone his age he felt as all eyes were on him.
He wasn't particularly scared of Inasa himself but having his whole friend group in on it meant bad things for Izuku.
Bakugo drives the two to his house and grabs Izuku's bag from the back.
"Go inside I'll bring your stuff in." Bakugo says while hauling Izuku's duffel bag over his shoulder.
"Thanks." Izuku mumbles before walking into the home.
Bakugo grits his teeth and follows him.
"Oh hi Izuku!" Mitsuki Bakugo greeted the young man who smiled at her.
"Hi Mitsuki! How've you been?" Izuku asks as Bakugo walks in behind him.
"I've been great! How about you?" Mitsuki sits down on the couch.
"That's great to hear! I've been doing great as well." Izuku smiles at the woman while Bakugo walks past him and toward his room.
"Let's go Deku." Bakugo calls for the boy who waves at Mitsuki and follows Bakugo.
The two walk in his room and Izuku looks over to a small couch in the corner.
"That's where you're sleeping." Bakugo told the boy while throwing his bag onto the couch.
Izuku sighed.
"Alright." The boy quietly replied while walking over to the couch.
Bakugo grit his teeth again.
"How the hell are you so fake so easily?" Bakugo growls to the green haired boy who just pauses.
"Listen Bakugo, if you don't wanna fight, then don't bring shit like that up." Izuku says before continuing to empty his bag.
Bakugo scoffs and turns to leave the room.
"I'm going to the basement, see you later." Bakugo left the room.
Izuku looked at the door.
'Why can't I just sleep in the basement...' He thought to himself before looking out of the window.
'These days are going to be long...' He sighed and turned around.
"Izuku Midoriya." Bakugo's dad stood in the doorframe.
"Mr.Bakugo, hi." Izuku quietly greeted the man with a small nod.
"Call me Masaru kid." The man chuckled, his demeanor changing to that of a relaxed one.
"Oh ok, Masaru." Izuku corrected himself while rubbing the back of his neck.
"I heard you're staying here for a few days. Everything alright at home? I know it must be rough on your mother with everything that happened." Masaru asks the boy.
Izuku feels sweat start to build in his hands.
He didn't like talking about his father, but Masaru had no way of knowing that.
"Everything's fine at home." Izuku nerbously laughed as he wiped his clammy hands on his pants.
"Is she handling it okay?" Masaru continues to push izuku, not fully understanding how much it affected the boy.
"Uh...yeah." Izuku choked up a bit and Masaru finally noticed.
"Alright Midorya. If you need anything let me know okay?" The man says trying to save face.
Izuku nods and Masaru leaves.
Izuku releases a breath he didn't even know he was holding in.
He looked down at his hands that were still shaking.
'Fuck!' Izuku thought to himself as he got up and walked toward the bathroom.
'Man I really need to get used to that...' Izuku thinks of his late father.
Tears slowly start to leave Izuku's eyes as he looks in the mirror.
'Damnit dad...why'd you have to leave us so early.'
