Elephant in the room, I did change the title and cover, I got tired of the old one because it felt like it didn't fit the story anymore. Hope you like the new stuff, couldn't get the cover as good as I wanted but I did my best.

Toya yawned as he stretched.

"Wait...TODOROKI?!" Kota accidentally yelled and Toya laughed.

"Yup, I'm Shoto's older brother." Toya told the boy as he opened the fridge.

"What are you doing here?!" Kota asked the man who took milk out of the fridge.

"I moved to America years ago dude. Shoto was a little boy when I did." The man laughed as he grabbed cereal from onto of the fridge.

"Oh, wait how old are you?!" Kota asked the man who was getting a bowl from the cabinet.

"25, I was 9 when Shoto was born. Left home at 16 to pursue a music career against my parent's wishes." Toya laughed as he poured cereal in to the bowl.

"I doubt Shoto even remembers me at this point, but Midoriya on the other hand probably would. Kid seemed to idolize me when I was forced to hang out with them when they were little kids." Toya said as he put down the cereal box and grabbed the carton of milk.

"Wow...why don't you wanna meet your family again? Wouldn't they be proud of you?" Kota asks the man who grabs a spoon and starts to eat.

"See, the type of music I make isn't very popular with my old fashioned parents." Toya chuckled as he pointed his spoon toward Kota.

"And that type of music is?" Kota asks the man as he eats.

"Emo rock/rap." Toya says as he woofs down the food.

"Oh...what is that like?" Kota asked the man who chuckled.

"Similar to the song Deku sang the other night. I actually helped Keigo finish writing the song. Of course we didn't tell him that though." Toya smiled as he started to drink the milk that was left after he finished the cereal.

"That's crazy..." Kota mumbled before Katsuma tapped him on the shoulder.

"We gotta go dude. Class starts in 10 minutes and the school is 15 away if we walk." Katsuma tells the boy whose eyes widen.

"Oh shit!" Kota says getting up and running to his room to grab his stuff.

Toya laughs.

"You really didn't wanna meet Midoriya huh?" Katsuma says to the man who nods.

"I'll meet him again someday. Matter of fact I have a song I think he'd do great on as a feature. But only time will tell right." Toya shrugged as he put his bowl in the sink and left the room.

Katsuma sighed as Kota ran back into the room with his backpack on and his hat on as well. Kota never left the house without the hat.

"I'm ready!" Kota told the boy with a grin.

Katsuma chuckled and nodded.

"Follow me." Katsuma said leading Kota toward the school.

The two arrived at the school and Kota felt a slight bit of anxiety.

"We gotta go to the principal. You'll probably be put in the classes that the rejects go in but that's fine." Katsuma told the boy who raised a brow.

'Rejects?' Kota thought to himself before following the boy.

The two entered the principals office.

"<Ah! Katsuma! Kota>" The principal said with a grin as he put his hand out to shake Kota's.

"<hello sir.>" Kota smiled and shook the man's hand.

"<Woah do you speak English?>" The blonde man asked as Katsuma sat down.

"<A little yeah.>" Kota chuckled as he sat down.

"<Well that's great! First let me introduce myself!>" The man said while holding his hand to his chest.

"My name is Mr.Shield, David is my first name." Principal Shields said in mediocre Japanese as he bowed down.

Kota smiled and stood up. "Kota Izumi sir, it's nice to meet you." Kota told the man who stared at him slightly confused.

Kota shook his head. "<Kota Izumi, it's nice to meet you>" Kota translated to the man who nodded.

"<Apologies, I'm obviously not fluent.> The man said switching back to English and sitting down.

"<No problem sir.>" Kota chuckled.

"<So, since Katsuma here needs to catch up in his classes, I'll have my daughter show you around the school okay?>" Principal shields says to the boy.

Katsuma rolls his eyes, he wanted to use showing Kota around as an excuse to miss class.

"<Yes I'm okay with that sir!>" Kota replied with a grin.

"<Alright, Katsuma bring him to the courtyard, I'll have Melissa meet him there.>"

Katsuma nods and stands up.

"Let's get away from this dork." Katsuma says in Japanese with a grin.

Kota raises a brow as he waves to Mr.Shields.

"Why so mean?" Kota asks the boy who shrugs.

"He can be annoying. Luckily when we speak Japanese almost no one can understand us." Katsuma grinned before a hand landed on his shoulder.

"But I can. Don't talk about my dad like that." A girl said as she grabbed Katsuma's cheek.

"Ow!" Katsuma complained.

Kota looked at the girl. She was around his height, had golden blonde hair even lighter than her father's and big round glasses.

"Hey! You must be Kota." The girl put out her hand and smiled.

"Uhm yeah, you must be Mr.Shield's daughter." Kota asks the girl as he shakes her hand.

She chuckled and nodded.

"Yup, Melissa Shield. Nice to meet ya'!" Melissa greeted the boy with a grin.

Kota smiled as he put his hands down to his side.

"Nice to meet you too." Kota tells the girl as Katsuma rolls his eyes.

"Can't you get your dad to let me go with you guys? I'm not tryna do math right now." Katsuma complained to Melissa who shook her head.

"I've gotten you out of classes more than enough times. Just bite the bullet at this point." Melissa said as she rolled her eyes.

Katsuma sighed. "Whatever, Kota meet me in front of the principals office when it's lunch." Katsuma said before walking away to his class.

"Alright, now, let me show you around!" Melissa said turning her attention back to Kota who nodded.

He grinned.

"I'll follow your lead."
