It was Friday, the end of the first week of school. It was a big day for Ochako and Izuku. Izuku was supposed to see if he got on the team and Ochako had volleyball tryouts that night.
It was 4th period, gym. They still had the soccer unit and Izuku was thriving. Ochako passed the ball to him and he bicycle kicked it into the goal, going right past Kaminari who was the goalie.
Bakugo watched and grit his teeth.
'Damnit.' He thought to himself as they set up the next play.
Once they finished playing Izuku was called over to the front of the gym with Yagi.
"Hey Mr.Yagi, what's up?" Izuku says while adjusting his bag.
"Hey kid, and you should call me coach." Yagi says smirking.
Izuku's eyes widen.
"You made the team as starting wide receiver!" Yagi says making Izuku smile.
Ochako overhears this and sprints at Izuku, she jumps and latches onto his back, her arms wrapped around his neck in a hugging position.
"You did it!" Ochako says smiling while still latched onto Izuku.
Shoto walks up behind them and pats Izuku on the shoulder where Ochako isn't leaning. Izuku turns to him and sees him smiling.
"Welcome to the team Izuku, it's gonna be fun." He says while putting his hand back down.
"Just be as good as you were at practice and I won't kill you!" Bakugo says from the other side of the gym.
Izuku awkwardly smiles.
"Yeah, It'll be fun." He says while Ochako still hangs on his back.
"I guess holding someone's body weight isn't a problem." Yagi says looking at Ochako.
"I forgot she was there." Izuku says with a small blush appearing on his face.
Ochako smiles.
"Let's go eat lunch." Ochako says with Shoto and Izuku nodding in agreement.
"See you later coach!" Shoto says as he walks toward the door.
"See you later Todoroki and Midoriya, and I'll see you tomorrow Uraraka." Yagi says while walking out of the gym.
The trio walks to the lunch room and sees Momo already there.
"Hey Momo." Ochako says, still on izuku's back.
"Uh hey? What going on here." Momo says looking at Izuku.
"Uhhhhhhh." Izuku freezes in place while blushing.
He forgot how it must've looked seeing Ochako on his back walking through the halls.
"He's working out, I'm just the weight." Ochako says proudly while hiding a slight blush.
"Isn't that calling yourself heavy?" Mina says from the side startling Izuku and Ochako.
"Well...." Izuku interrupts Ochako.
"Nah she's not heavy, but it's extra weight nonetheless."
Mina nods.
"Way to save her ego." Mina says smirking.
Todoroki chuckles in the background.
"Anyways what are you doing here Mina?" Momo asks while taking out her lunch.
"I'm bored, I got my schedule changed so I have lunch now, would you mind if I sat here?" Mina says while Ochako drops of off Izuku and sits next to him.
