"Do I have to watch the dog? Sounds tedious..." Izuku asked as he put on a coat.
"Yes honey, Ochako's parents and I are going out to dinner and they need you to watch the dog until Ochako gets home." Inko told the boy who sighed.
"You'll be fine don't worry." Inko laughs at Izuku as the two walk outside and to the car.
Back at the dance more upbeat music was playing. Bakugo stood next to Kota who was completely out of it. Bakugo noticed this. "Dude why aren't you with Eri?" Bakugo asked Kota who looked over to him.
"She's been very distant since our little date the other week..." Kota mumbled, Bakugo barely able to hear it over the music.
"Come on man, just talk to her. I'm not sure what happened between you two but if anything you guys are friends. Just talk to her, after all she is your date." Bakugo told the boy who slowly nodded.
"Yeah...okay." Kota looked over to Eri to see her dancing with Himiko and Camie. It wasn't actually dancing it was just casual rave dancing. Jumping up and down basically.
She had that smile on her face that made Kota's stomach feel weird. Butterflies. He hesitated but Bakugo smacked him on the shoulder. Kota looked back to the boy. "Go!" Bakugo urged the boy while pushing him a bit.
Kota froze and shook his head. "Nah man I can't, not right now. She's having fun I don't wanna ruin her mood." The boy backed up as he became anxious.
Bakugo clicked his tongue. "She's your date! Stop being stupid! Actually, you know what." Bakugo pushed past Kota and walked over to the trio who were still dancing.
"Hey Camie your date is here." Himiko giggled and pointed to Bakugo.
"Baku-bae!" Camie giggled and hugged Bakugo.
"Hey, Camie can I talk to you for a minute?" Bakugo asked the girl while patting her back.
"Yeah sure! I'll be right back girls." Camie waved to Himiko and Eri who waved back.
Bakugo pulled Camie to the side.
"What's up Bakugo?" Camie asked the boy.
"So, that Kota kid who's here with Eri." Bakugo says and Camie raises an eyebrow.
"They're here together?!" Camie asks the boy surprised.
Bakugo laughed. "Yeah, and they've spoken like once." Bakugo told the girl who face palmed.
"Why the hell aren't they together?" Camie asks as she looks over to Kota who had a blush on his face while talking to Tenko.
"Kota is being a little sissy because the two stopped talking consistently after a date." Bakugo said with a sigh.
"So, why'd you call me over to tell me this?" Camie turned back to the boy who smirked.
"Because I have a plan."
Tenko stood next to Kota. "You like her and you got her to go out with you to the dance just ask her out bro." Tenko said to the boy who still had a blush on his face.
"Listen I want too but the last time I did she thought I meant hang out as friends! Then after that time she hasn't really talked to me much since." Kota tells the boy who shrugs.
"So what, it's not like she hates you." Tenko tells the boy who reluctantly nods.
"I guess you're right...but still it's nerve racking man." Kota closes his eyes and drops his head down a bit.
'What am I doing...' He thought to himself before a song came on.
He was brought out of thought by Camie grabbing his hands. He looked at the girl.
"Uh...hey?" He said awkwardly as the girl giggled.
"Let's dance Kota!" Camie told the boy who was incredibly confused.
"Uhm...okay?" He said and Camie dragged him to where everyone was dancing.
Izuku pulled into Ochako's driveway.
"Alright sweetie thank you for driving." Inko smiled to her son and he smiled back.
"No problem mama." He answers as he opens the car door.
The two got to the front door and Inko knocked on the door. Ochako's mom opened it. "Ah Inko! izuku! Hey you guys." Ochako's mom walked up and hugged inko. "Hey!" Inko greeted back.
Ochako's mom looked to izuku. "Thank you so much for coming on such short notice." She laughed as she turned back to the house.
"Honey izuku is here so we can leave!" Ochako's mom called back to her husband.
"Alright!" The man yelled back before rounding a corner and walking down the stairs.
"Thanks for watching the dog kid." Ochako's father smiled while patting the boy on the shoulder.
"No problem dad, hope you guys have fun." Izuku answers with a smile.
Ochako's father's eyes widen. 'He called me dad! Holy shit!' The man thought to himself as he was dragged along toward the car.
"He's already fed just walk him in a little while and hang out you should be good!" Ochako's mom yells as the trio get into the car.
"Okay!" Izuku says back before turning and walking into the house.
"Deku!" Izuku calls out to the dog who walks out from the corner and starts wagging his tail.
"Hey buddy!" Izuku says as he runs up the stairs to the dog who rolls onto its belly.
"Awe who's a good boy!" Izuku rubs the dogs belly and smiles.
Suddenly he hears music start blaring from the backyard. His head shoots up and he slowly nears the kitchen.
'They all just left and Ochako is at homecoming...who the hell is playing music so loud?' The boy thought to himself as the little doggy Deku followed him into the kitchen.
As he neared the door to the deck he heard the music get louder. 'It's definitely outside.' Izuku thinks to himself as he opens the door to the deck and walks to the edge.
His eyes widened.
A big party tent, a tiny stage with a big table and speakers. Along with a laptop. Ochako stood in the grass.
"Ochako?! What are you doing here?? You're supposed to be at homecoming!" Izuku said as he walked to the stairs and ran down.
Ochako giggled as the boy neared her and looked her up and down.
"Izuku you're silly to think I'd really stay at homecoming without a date. So...I decided to take homecoming, home." Ochako looked around at the setup she made with a big grin on her face.
Izuku was in awe.
"This is amazing..." izuku told the girl who waved her hands. "You took me on a vacation to a five star hotel this pales in comparison." She chuckled and Izuku grabbed her hands.
"No, this is amazing, seriously I can't believe it!" Izuku got excited.
"Well, you better fit the part right? If you're gonna be my date." Ochako says looking at the boys painfully casual outfit.
'Shit...' Izuku thought to himself while trying to think of how fast he could run home and get changed.
"Your suit is up in my room. Laying out on my bed. Be quick I wanna dance." Ochako giggled and the boy smiled and nodded.
"Yeah!" He turned around and ran up the deck stairs before running to Ochako's room.
He looks on her bed to see a Dark green suit with black stripes on the inner linings. There wasn't a tie but that was because Ochako knew that neither of them could tie one properly.
Izuku changed and walked back out into the backyard.
"So, welcome to homecoming." Ochako giggled. Her plan had worked perfectly.
And her plan wasn't going to be the only thing that was perfect.
