Chapter 83: Homecoming

13 days, it had been 13 days since Eri and Kota hung out alone. The girl had become distant as she couldn't find how she felt. It hurt her inside to be this way but every time the two were close she felt like she was going to explode in embarrassment.

It was the day of homecoming. The two had agreed to meet at the school instead of at Eri's house. Both of their parents were disappointed since they wouldn't be able to take pictures.

Ochako had her plan ready to go. She was excited. The school day had just started and Ochako walked alongside Toga and Tenko to the two's first class.

"So, you guys excited for tonight?" Ochako asked the two who nodded. "I think it'll be fun." Tenko said with a small smile on his face.

"Yeah same." Toga nervously chuckled as they all stopped in front of the door.

"Alright well, I'll see you guys at lunch!" Ochako smiled and waved the two waving back before walking into class.

'Oh she totally hasn't talked to him about what we discussed...' Ochako thinks back to a couple weeks prior when they had the long conversation the day she got back from Miyazaki.

Ochako sighs before walking into her first class.

The first half of the day goes by quickly. Lunch starts and Ochako sits down at everyone's table.

"Hey Ochako!" Mina greets the girl with a wave and a big smile.

"Ah, Mina hey." Ochako smiles as she takes out her lunch.

"You excited to go with Kirishima tonight?" Ochako asks the girl who sequels and nods.

"It's gonna be so,so,fun! And after the dance he's gonna take me to a hotel." A mischievous grin appeared on Mina's face and Ochako rolled her eyes.

"Don't need to hear about you getting freaky Mina, it's none of my business." Ochako tells the girl who gives her a dirty look.

"You're telling me you and Midoriya haven't gotten down and dirty yet. Especially after he took you on a vacation? I don't believe it!" Mina claimed while putting her hand in the air and smacking down on the table.

Ochako sighed. "Nope. Haven't even seen him fully naked." She said as she pulled a sandwich out of her lunch bag.

"No way...dude aren't you like, desperate at this point?" Mina asked the girl who shook her head.

"Not desperate, frustrated though." She admits as she takes a bite into her sandwich.

"Sexually frustrated. That sucks." Mina says making Ochako slightly grin.

The girl was immature sometimes when she heard the word sex.

"I guess you could call it that. I mean we've been together for over a year now and I haven't even seen him naked how crazy is that." Ochako said as Bakugo neared the table.

"It's even crazier that I saw his dick before you did." Bakugo said with a chuckle as he sat down at the table.

"YOU WHAT?!" Mina yelled unaware of what happened 2 weeks beforehand.

"Yup, I was at the gym with Deku and Kota was there. Kota pants'd him and he didn't have underwear on. So I saw his dick." Bakugo said casually with Mina just staring at him.

"Are you gay Bakugo." Mina asked with a straight face making Ochako burst out laughing.

"No! The fuck?!" Bakugo said to Mina who raised an eyebrow.

"I mean you speak so delicately about seeing your buddy's dick so I don't know." Mina now teased the boy as the table became more populated.

"Oh speaking of Kota by the way, I haven't seen him today do you guys know where he is?" Ochako asked the group that had tripled in size.

"Nah I haven't seen him." Kirishima said while sitting down next to Mina.

"Maybe he's with Eri?" Bakugo put out into the conversation.

"I'm not sure, they've been a bit distant lately so I wouldn't be surprised if they weren't together right now." Toga mentioned with Tenko nodding in agreement.

Ochako shrugged. "I guess I'll go look for him." She said as she stood up and started to walk away.

Ochako explored the school for a few minutes. Soon enough, she found someone sitting at the edge of the courtyard. It wasn't Kota though, it was Eri.

"Hey Eri, what's up?" Ochako asked the girl noticing her sour face.

"Huh?? Oh...Ochako hey. Im just eating." Eri was surprised at the girls sudden appearance.

"Where's Kota? Don't you guys usually eat together?" Ochako asked the girl while sitting next to her.

Eri chuckled. "Usually yeah...we've just been busy these past couple weeks and I haven't found the time to sit with him again..." Eri lies and frowns while looking down at the grass.

"Did something happen? You don't seem like your usual self and haven't in a while." Ochako asks the girl who sighs.

"Can you keep a secret?" Eri asked Ochako who nods. "Of course I can. What's up?" Ochako prompts the girl to tell her.

"Well...a few days after homecoming was announced me and Kota went to the gym together and we're gonna have dinner but he was exhausted....ok I'm just gonna get to the point. He, while half asleep said that he loved me. And I don't know how to feel about it...so I've kind of been avoiding him." Eri tells Ochako who frowns and sighs.

"You don't know how you feel about him. That sucks, but avoiding him won't help. If anything it'll make him feel like he did something wrong. Especially if he doesn't remember what he said." Ochako told the girl who nodded.

"I know but it's so hard...I wanna tell him that I feel the same but I just don't know if I do...I don't know what it means to love someone." Eri looked to Ochako who still had a frown on her face.

"Eri that's for you to find out. Everyone loves differently. You gotta find the way you do, otherwise you'll never be close with Kota again. You don't want that do you?" Ochako asks the girl who shakes her head.

"No! I wanna be close with him...really bad. That day he told me he loved me I bought him a hat, and he got me a matching one." Eri reached to her backpack and took out the black hat.

"Every time we've talked he's worn the one I bought him. But whenever I wanna wear this one I feel...funny." Eri explained as she fiddled with the hat.

"How about this, you see how tonight goes. Then play it from then. Just do not ditch him at homecoming okay? That would make him drop you completely." Ochako instructs the girl who slowly nods.

"Alright...I'll do that. Thanks Ochako...I appreciate it". The girl smiled for the first time in the conversation and Ochako did as well.

The rest of the school day went by quickly.

It was finally time.

For homecoming.
