Izuku and Ochako walked into the airport. They were now in Miami, Florida.
"It's warm here...warmer than California." Izuku said with a grin as he took off his jacket.
"For real!" Ochako grinned.
It was 8pm when they landed, the clock had gone 3 hours forward because of the time change. So in California it was 5pm, and in Japan it was 10 am the on the first of January, whilst it was still the 31st in America.
"So, where are we staying?!" Ochako asked izuku as they walked out of the airport.
"I can call an Uber hold on." Izuku said as he pulled out his phone.
"Shit I don't know how to speak English..." Izuku said under his breath making Ochako laugh, he then got a text from Kota.
*Hey! Did you guys land safely?*Kota messaged the boy who grinned.
*yeah, we're good, forgot that we don't speak English so we're kinda stranded.* Izuku messaged back feeling stupid.
*i gotchu* Kota replied.
A few seconds went by and Izuku got a text from Keigo.
*<yo, here, I'll have a driver come get you and bring you too a hotel near where the cruise is Ight?>* Keigo messaged the boy.
Izuku stared at the message.
'Thank god for google translate." He mumbled as he held down on the message and had it translated.
Another message came through and it was Apple Pay. 5k.
*are you sure I need this much?!* izuku messaged back as the money entered his phones account.
*<take it as a down payment for the 100k>.* Keigo replied, izuku translated it and he chuckled.
*can't believe you're serious about that.* izuku messaged back.
*<you ain't gotta worry bout it twin, you chill asf and ion like to flex but it's pocket change to me>* Keigo messaged back.
Izuku translated this one but was still slightly confused because of Keigo's slang.
*if you insist.* izuku messages back.
*I just added a Japanese keyboard to my phone, we chillin' now. I got one of my chauffeur coming to pick you up now. Everything's paid for at the hotel so you'll be cool when you get there just use your real names since that's what I put you down as.* Keigo messaged the boy who is happy he can actually read it without using google translate.
*thanks man I appreciate it.* izuku messaged back before looking over to Ochako who yawned.
"How the hell are you tired? We woke up like 8 hours ago." Izuku laughed as he put his phone in his pocket.
"Wouldn't you like to know." Ochako squinted her eyes slightly at the boy.
"You're right, I would. But I get the feeling that I won't, so nevermind." Izuku said with a smile.
"A driver Keigo sent out is on their way, and we're gonna stay at a hotel for the night." Izuku smiled and Ochako's eyes lit up.
"That's great!" Ochako told the boy before hugging him.
The two continued to wait and soon enough a black car with tinted windows showed up. The window opened and a small sign was shown.
'Izuku midoriya and Ochako Uraraka. This is your car.' It said in Japanese.
The two teens chuckled as they ran to the car. Izuku opened the back door and Ochako got in.
"Hello!" Ochako said to the driver who blinked a few times before handing the girl a phone.
She looked at it and saw that it had google translate on it. She quickly typed something out and pressed the little audio icon as izuku sat in the car.
"Hi! Thanks for coming to pick us up so quickly." The phone spoke for the girl.
The driver smiled before typing himself.
The voice of the phone came out again, this time in Japanese.
"It's my pleasure, please get ready. The drive is half an hour long so it'll be a bit before we arrive." The phone said and the man grinned while putting a thumbs up.
"What a nice guy." Ochako giggled and izuku chuckled.
*were all good, thanks again Keigo, for all this stuff.* Izuku messaged the man who immediately read the message.
*nah bro thank you for this song, Kaina cooking up a beat this is gonna be INSANE* Keigo message back and the boy smiled.
*I have an idea btw, make a Spotify account and I'll send you the track to post. It'll show up on mine and it can get you some big cash!* Keigo messaged the boy who was now genuinely confused why Keigo was being so nice to him.
*dude for real why are you being so generous?* Izuku messaged the man who sent a laughing emoji.
*fine, I'll be honest. Some of my old buddies at U.A messaged me last year about you. And how you carried the team to a championship for the first time in schools history. Before you I was the closest to ever get there. So I have a bias toward you.* Keigo answers.
Izuku chuckles.
*winning a championship to get 100k and a feature from a megastar? Worth it.* Izuku messages back with a grin still on his face.
*dude I was being Fr earlier, I could actually make you into a megastar.* Keigo messages the boy who freezes.
'I could...but I don't really wanna live that life.' Izuku thought to himself.
*nah man that life ain't for me, I wanna be normal you know? As fun as it sounds, I think I'll pass on being a rockstar.* izuku messaged back.
*aye, if you ever change your mind, you have my number. Oh, also, I set up your appearance at the festival. Kaina just finished the beat, I'm gonna finish writing it, and we'll be all set by the end of the week. I can get you anonymous if you want.* Keigo offers which makes izuku happy.
*sure, put my name down as...* Izuku sent the message and paused before looking to Ochako.
"What should I be called?" Izuku asks the girl who smiles and giggles before replying.
"Deku!"
