Artius

He woke up tiredly with Nsheios snuggled up into him, he stared at Nsheios processing the situation he was in, the position he was in. He had Nsheios, Nsheios of all people, snuggled up in his arms. He had no idea how this happened, how he got in this situation. He watched Nsheios's rays twitch as he snuggled his face in and Artius flinched absolutely stunned. 

He's just pretty sure he's dead when Nsheios wakes up. His rays went back in stress and Nsheios just kept sleeping peacefully, he stared at Nsheios's peaceful sleeping face, which was the most calm he's ever seen Nsheios. He's seen Nsheios sleep before, it usually is very light and he seems almost... alert when he sleeps. 

Now, Nsheios was in a very deep sleep, it seemed he wasn't going to wake up anytime soon. He seemed peaceful, which wasn't what Artius expected to wake up to, no, he wasn't expecting to wake up to Nsheios snuggled up in his arms. Nsheios nuzzled him and Artius flinched back again, so- I uh- I don't think Nsheios will kill me when he wakes up. I mean, he did let this happen. 

Artius shakily grabbed Nsheios's ray and Nsheios just slept peacefully, he took a deep breath and relaxed. Nsheios's breathing was soft as he stayed snuggled in, the blanket was very warm and comfortable, though Artius was still a little cold. Okay... this is fine, Artius watched Nsheios's rays droop more into the floor as Artius rubbed his back gently.

This is a rare moment of Nsheios vulnerability, he could tell Nsheios didn't like the cold at all, he was obviously trying to keep away from it as much as possible. Artius stiffened when Nsheios's eyes slid open, he stared at Nsheios nervously and Nsheios grumbled softly. "Hi" Artius said nervously, Nsheios laid there drowsily. "Hello...?" Artius shook him gently and Nsheios grunted "stop, I'm trying to wake up" "oh, sorry" Artius said "your rays are very... floppy right now" Nsheios muttered "I have no idea what you mean by that."

Are his rays malfunctioning or something? Artius gently touched his rays as they stayed floppy and he said "yeah, they're floppy" Nsheios seemed too tired to stop him right now, Artius looked over and he saw that the entrance was pitch black, wait... if we fell asleep in the morning after staying up all night... then does that mean that he and Nsheios have been sleeping snuggled up for a whole day?

Artius lifted up one of Nsheios's rays and let it go, watching it hit the floor like a weight. Nsheios hardly seemed to be putting any control into them, "you good buddy?" "fine..." Nsheios muttered. Artius thought for a long moment before he remembered the blueprints to this body, he has seen them by pure chance and he completely forgot until now that he's seen them. 

This models rays droop and give up when the robot is happy and/or relaxed, it was supposed to add to the daycare model cuteness factor. However, now an irritable god has taken it over and this function is hardly used, or maybe Nsheios simply tries to avoid it, because it does look cute and lovable. 

As the model was made to be as it was originally for kids, and was supposed to be lovable, it did raise a concern. It was possible that the programming was rubbing off on Nsheios and making him act this way, either that or he's just actually relaxed and happy. If it's the latter, I have been blessed by something rare.

Is blessed even the right word? I have no idea. 

Artius asked "how you feel?" Nsheios grunted softly "fine" "you sure? Your rays are very limp" Nsheios stared at him confused "I have no idea what your talking about" Artius just sighed "never mind, just relax" Nsheios let out a soft 'hmph' and Artius gently rubbed his back as he stared at the wall. 

He stared at a small unknown bug on the wall, it fluttered its purple wings before flying away with a soft buzzing sound. "You know we slept all night, right?" Artius asked Nsheios and Nsheios was already back to sleep somehow. He stared at Nsheios as his breathing was soft and rhythmic as he slept peacefully again, no way can this guy sleep any more, the robots programming has got to be rubbing off on him.
