"Will you teach me to play?" Cas said looking at the deck of cards he placed in front of you.
"Teach you to play what?" You asked, looking at his eyes as they slowly rose to look at you.
"This game titled Goldfish. I asked Dean but he laughed at me. And Sam told me he couldn't be bothered."
"You mean Go Fish?"
"No Goldfish."
"Ok Cas."
"So will you teach me?" His blue eyes shined with a desire and curiosity that you would find in a small child. Your heart melted a bit at the sight of his desire,"Well I guess I can. But why do you want to know."
"Because I saw it on TV and found the game that includes no fish or gold to be quite interesting."
"Ok, take a seat, I'll deal."
"Ok you start with seven cards in your hand and you have to pair them up. The game will start with you asking me for a card in your hand. If I have it then you get it and can lay it down. If I don't then you have to draw from the pile and it is my turn. Got it?"
"Yes." He pulled out and laid two cards down, a 7 of hearts and a 7 of clubs.
"Alright so you start."
"Do you have a 3?"
"Goldfish."
He then picked up, and the game proceeded until he only had 1 card, you on the other hand had 6 still and knew there was no way you were going to win.
"Do you have any 5s?" He asked, as you released a sigh.
"Here you go. Good game."
"Wait the game is over?"
"Yea, the games over Cas, you won."
"Can we play again?" He gave you the puppy dog eyes and he even pouted a bit.
"I guess." And that is how you spent the rest of the day, you even ended it by saying, "next weekend I will teach you how to play UNO ok?"
