hey so theres a new oc in this one, so we get even more context! gods i need a life.

so the new oc is lily harper (again, not the same one from skaters pt 2, just the same name) lily harper is about 14, and idolizes hiccup and south. hiccup and south are world famous dancers. i think that's it.

hiccup is 21, south is 21.

"lily! c'mere!" i hear my mom call from downstairs. I put down my phone and jog down the stairs to see my mom with an envelope in her hand

"i got an early birthday present for you" she says. I tilt my head. my birthday is next week. why this early? she hands me the envelope and I slowly open it. I take out two tickets to something. there's a clip art of a man and a woman in a ballet position and underneath, the date, time and name for hiccup and south haddock's dance show in my hometown! I drop the tickets with shaking hands and cover my mouth with my palm

"no... you didn't..." i whisper, picking the tickets up and closely inspecting them to find anything to prove they aren't real- that this is all just a trick, but the ticket's are 100% real. i let out a sob and practically fly to my mother, throwing my arms around her. I sob while clutching her, as she chuckles and rubs my back.

"thank you, thank you, thank you" I whisper over and over. she knows how much I idolize these two, and have ever since they started dancing together. I watched them get engaged and get married online, i was in the first 1000 subscribers on their youtube channel (they now have 43 million). I post clips of them on my own channel, and photos of them on my Instagram. they do all sorts, contemporary, ballet, modern, jazz, tap, everything! eventually, my mom let's me go and I run upstairs, going to text my friends. I text my best friend. (she is italics, bff is bold.)

i close my phone and lay back on my bed with a grin. i can't wait

lily's birthday

me and my mom walk into the auditorium in our hometown, and take good seats in the 3rd row. before long, the lights dim. then, they go back up, and there they are! it's so different seeing them in person. hiccup is much taller than I imagined. they begin doing some simple moves, but as the tempo of the song increases, (it's lily by alan walker, which makes me grin at the irony) they move faster. some moves include hiccup holding souths waist and spinning her, or them dancing separately. they way they dance in perfect synchronization, it's breath-taking. the song ends and hiccup dips south. people begin to clap as they bow. a tech guy brings on a microphone and hands it to south, hiccup stands next to her.

"hey guys! glad you enjoyed that. theres a special someone in this audience today who's birthday is today!" my heart stops, and i glance over at my mom who's looking at me with s smug facial expression.

"lily harper! where are you!" she chirps. my breath hitches and my heart pounds hard against my chest. I slowly stand up. south's eyes land on my and she grins.

"there you are! come up here, girl!" I make my way up to the stage. theres no stairs, so when i reach it, hiccup walks over to me and pulls me up, smiling.

"your mother reached out to us to ask us to say happy birthday to you, but we're gonna do you one better. mrs harper, you don't mind if we steal your daughter for a while" hiccup says, his accent much thicker in person. my mom grins and shouts "go ahead" making people laugh. they usher me off the stage while saying goodbye to everyone, and promising they'll be back after the other dancers go on. they take me to some sort of break room.

"so, lily harper! happy birthday!" south hugs me.

"t-thank you" I say, my voice a little shaky

"no, need to be nervous, we're not that bad! well, im not. hiccup's awful" she giggles, pulling back. hiccup gapes at her, pretending to be offended

"i thought you loved me!" he says dramatically. i giggle

"wait... did you choose the song 'lily' because it's my birthday?" I ask.

"yep." I laugh

"well, i do love that song." i continue to chat with them for a while. i learn that they met in dance school, and continued to be dance partners. their school signed them up for america's got talent, which they won. after that, they got many contracts all over the world. they fell in love while on the road, and got married 2 years later. it's quite an epic love story.

"i must say, hiccup. you're much taller in person than on the videos" I say, and he chuckles

"yeah, i used to be really short, shorter than south." south giggles

"now you're a tree, love." he mockingly glares at her

"what is with you ganging up on me today?" he pouts. she ruffles his hair. she looks as if she's about to say something, but then seems to remember something else

"oh yeah! I totally forgot. we got you some presents" she reaches under a table and pulls out 2 gift bags.

"you really didn't have to do that. meeting you is enough for me" i hold my hands up. she grins

"nonsense!" she hands the bags to me. I gingerly look through them, seeing some of thir merch, and their dvd's, one of them is like a dance tutorial thing, and the others are from their shows. the other bag is full of things not related to them, such as some expensive perfumes, and a round trip ticket to paris to see another of their shows in a month. I tear up.

"y-you really didn't have to get me all this" south hugs me, and hiccup hugs us both.

"it was our pleasure. especially mine as i was dragging him around the perfume shops and forcing him to let me test them on him" she giggles, and i do too. hiccup chuckles.

"yeah, i smelt of female for 2 days" we break out into laughter, me wiping the tears from my eyes. south check's the time

"we gotta get back on stage. you get backstage view for the rest of the show" I smile

"thank you. this really means a lot" they grin back and lead me to the side of the stage and i'm sat down. I watch as they begin dancing to rule the world by take that. as i watch, I test ut the 4 perfumes they got me. all 4 smelt amazing. I recognize one as the same one south wears (she posted about it on her insta and i could smell it on her when we hugged). after a few songs, they come back of the stage, looking exhilarated, and rather sweaty.

"gods, you'd think we'd be used to this by now" hiccup pants, leaning his hands on his knees. south grins

"no, it's because we spend all our free time eating junk food and laying in bed" I laugh. south grins at me

"yeah, you're probably right" we all bust out laughing.

okay, that was seriously shitty. oh well.
