Anyway, I know you have been keeping up with my book, so I thought here would be a good place to express my own feelings.
The truth is, I do still like you, but I don't know if I'm in a place where I would feel ready for a relationship. I know you aren't much like that anyway, but I hope you understand.
I'm sorry that one of the reasons you broke up with Evelyn because you felt you were leading her on because you liked me, I never knew it. At least you can keep Evelyn as a confidant of sorts. She'll never tell! Anyway, I'm rambling, so I'm just gonna finish by saying thanks. It means a lot to me that you wrote that note instead of messaging me at 1am while half asleep the way I did all those months ago.
