I'm sorry that for some reason every Viking times one I do, hiccup and south seem to have a kid. I can't get ideas for anything so

Hiccup and south are 17, Amora is 1

"Are you as bored as me, baby?" I coo down at the little girl in my arms. She giggles at me.
"Mama"
"That's right!" I laugh as attack the little girl with kisses.
"Dada" she says, just as a pair of arms wrap around my waist.
"Is it just me, or do I see two very beautiful girls stood right here?" Hiccup flirts, resting his head  on the top of mine and gently poking her tummy, and she shrieks with laughter. I can practically sense his grin.
"Hey there" I chuckle. He kisses the top of my head
"Afternoon, m'lady" he wraps his arm around my waist when suddenly
"SOUTH TRADER" I hear Astrid yell. I turn around, holding her axe while storming towards me. I clutch Amora tight
"Not my name, Astrid" I say, irritated.
"I CHALLENGE YOU FOR THE BAND OF HICCUP HADDOCK" she screams, enraged. I gasp a little
"Astrid, that's not how this works. The men fight for a woman, not the other way around. Besides, I'm already married to her and we have a daughter" hiccup says, pulling away from me and crossing his arms.
"That should be MY daughter, not hers!" She shouts. I grit my teeth. Hiccup glares.
"No, she shouldn't. Now leave us alone, Astrid. Maybe if you wanted to marry me, you shouldn't have watched as I got beat up and ridiculed so many times" hiccup spits before wrapping his arm around my waist and leading me away. Only after a few steps I feel an overwhelming pain in my back. My vision greys at the edges and I scream, falling. I manage to turn and land in my back so I don't crush Amora, but the pain almost makes me pass out
"SOUTH!" Hiccup cries. I see Astrid stand over me, her axe swings down towards my head. I roll out of the way, levering myself up with my arms so that I don't crush her.
"GET UP AND FIGHT" Astrid yells.
"Hiccup, take Amora" I say, standing
"South you need to go to gothi. You can't fight her!"
"Take her, hiccup." I say. He does. I plant my feet and glare at her. I can feel blood oozing out of the large cut in my back, inflicted by astrids axe, but the adrenaline is keeping me awake.
"I'm not going to fight you, because I'm better than that" I say.
"Coward" I clench my fists.
"It won't work. I am not going to fight you." She chucks her axe down and tries to come at me. I just jump out of the way. The adrenaline begins to wear off, and I collapse. My vision goes black.

"Is she gonna be okay?" I can hear hiccup say. I try to open my eyes- to tell him I'm fine, but I can't.
"We don't know, son. The wound on her back is infected. If it doesn't clear, she may not wake up"
"No no no no no no, she has to wake up! South, south please wake up" hiccup sobs. I hear Amora crying
"I know baby, I know." I hear him soothe her. Wait, wasn't he just holding my hand? What on earth is going on?"
"Son, the infection isn't clearing... gothi isn't hopeful" I hear stoick say softly. Has more time passed? I would've heard him come in...
"No..." I feel a gentle weight on my stomach. It's a little cold, like it's wet. It's hiccup. He's crying.
"Please south... wake up... for Amora... you can leave us alone" he cries

"Mama" I hear Amora say
"Oh baby... my baby girl... it's gonna be okay..."
"Son..."
"Dad, what am I gonna do? I can't raise Amora on my own... I don't know how..."
"Aye son... it's hard, I know. I had to do it. I never would've wished it on anyone, especially not you. Gods..." I feel another wait on my stomach, something pulling against my dress. When I breath in, I smell a lovely foresty smell. It's Amora.
"South, baby... it's been three weeks. I don't even know if you can hear me. Gothi said you might be able to. If you can... please just wake up. I can't live without you. Amora keeps crying for you. Astrid was put in prison. If you die, she'll be executed. If you live, her punishment is up to you. Part of me feels like your suffering. I hope you're not. I've loved yo too long, I swear. This can't be good for my health" he jokes a little. I laugh on the inside.
"Babe..." he sighs.

"Son. Gothi thinks we might have to put her out of her misery" I hear stoick again
"What?"
"It's been a month... she wouldn't want us to just let her sit here, would she?" He does have a point. I'm slowly driving myself crazy.
"Don't you think I know that? Dad, I've been married to her for two years. But I also know she wouldn't want us to give up." He also has a point.
"It's up to you, son. She can't speak for herself, so you have to speak for her"
"We're not going to kill her. Not yet"
"Okay."

Wait... can I move my hand? I try, and it moves. There is no sound, apart from gentle breathing somewhere across the room. I hear uneven, light footsteps, then a weight in my stomach. Amora.
"Mama" I move my hand as much as I can. Her tiny little baby hands wrap around my finger
"DADA" she screams. I hear running footsteps.
"Amora! What happened?" I hear hiccup say
"Mama" she says. I move my hand again.
"South... can you hear me?" I twitch again. He gasps. I hear him running.
"SOMEONE GET GOTHI!" He screams. I can hear some people running.
"Hiccup, What happened?"
"South. She can hear us. South, do it again" he clutches my hand. I squeeze it.
"Did you see? She squeezed my hand!"
"This is a good sign! She's going to be okay"

A week later
"South, honey. Can you open your eyes?" Over the past week, I've gained more of my mobility back. I obediently flutter my eyes open, though squeeze them shut again against the light.
"Ngh..."
"Mama!" I feel Amora climb onto me. I move my arm and wrap it around her
"Amora" I say. My voice is quiet and hoarse. I feel the bed dip next to me and hiccup takes me into his arms. I lean against his chest.
"Oh thank god... I thought I'd lost you" he cries into my hair.
"You're not getting rid of me that easily" he lets out a little laugh and tilts my head up. I open my eyes to meet his green ones, before closing them as he gently presses his lips against mine. The kiss is short, only a couple seconds.

"Astrid" I say, folding my arms and facing the girl who is sat in the prison
"You're alive?"
"Yes. That's lucky for you."
"Not really" she chuckles.
"Well, if I had died. You would have been executed. But now, your punishment is up to me. It's funny, isn't it? How your life is in my hands. But I am a mother Astrid. I cannot set such an example to my daughter. So, therefore. You will be banished to eel island for a month before being allowed to return to berk. I will even let you keep your shield maiden title"
"Whatever" I walk out of the jail as the men escort her to her boat. I meet hiccup and Amora.
"You good?"
"Yeah... Yeah, I am"
