13- [SPECIAL] tuffnut!

welcome to the first special episode, per say. maybe its not actually a special, just something different, but i think i need to write my sisters tuffnut x north she wanted before she turns full psycho and kills me. enjoy.

north's p.o.v

something's changing. me, being the extraordinarily unobservant person that i am, can't actually tell what it is. all i know is that something has changed with one of the riders. 

i hear a knock on my hut door.

"come in" i swing myself over the edge of the second floor, grab onto the ledge then jump down. i turn around to see tuffnut stood there, looking rather... serious? is that even possible.

"woah, you look like hiccup when we are about to go on a mission. what's up, tuff?" i chuckle and walk closer. he looks directly at me

"i have something to say. before you think that i'm joking, i'm not. as much as people think so, i'm not always a muttonhead. just most of the time" he looks away. i frown

"is something wrong? what do you have to say?" i place my hand on his shoulder

"i have no idea how to say it. i spoke to hiccup and south, and asked how they did it. they just told me to be honest. so i'm gonna be honest. i like you. alot." he rambles so fast i have to hang on carefully to each word or i may miss something, but i hear it all fine.

"you... like me?" he nods furiously.

"umm yeah. if you don't like me i can-"

"tuff"

"i mean, why would you, i'm an idiot! ask anybody!"

"tuffnut."
"i shouldn't have said anything. bye north" 

"TUFFNUT!" he looks startled

"NORTH!" he yells back. i chuckle. 

"shut up" i mutter before leaning in and kissing him. he freezes for a moment before settling down and kissing me back. i admit, he could use a bit of practice. his kiss is rather sloppy, but that doesn't matter to me. what matters is the tingly feeling going down my spine. what matters is the way my heart is flying a mile a minute, and how my legs feel weak. his arms hang at his sides, si i gently grab one of his hands and lay it on my waist, and grab the other and lay it on my neck without breaking the kiss. a small part of my mind registers the whispers i can hear, but the rest of my head doesn't care. i lay my hands on either side of his face and hold mis firmly in place. after another 20 or so seconds, i need air so i slowly break the kiss. my eyes flutter open at the same time as his and for a solid 10 seconds he just looks at me with slightly wide eyes, before he throws his arms around me and squeezes me tight. i hug him back, burying my head in the crook between his shoulder and neck. he smells like saltwater, reminding me of the walks on the beach i take with south every morning. he pulls back and looks at me with a large grin.

"wait so does this mean you're my girlfriend now? cos' i've never had a girlfriend before. i mean, i've never even been kissed before"

"yes tuff. i am your girlfriend now." i hear a whoop come from outside  my head snaps over and i see hiccup stood with his arm around south, while she claps her hands

"aaaah yes!" she squeals and hiccup laughs. i blush madly

"how long have you two muttonheads been there?" i narrow my eyes at them

"the whole time. we're tuffnuts wingmen!" hiccup grins, and south elbows him

"ah! wingman and wingwoman then. thor you're exactly like astrid" he mutters to her and she laughs.
