Avengers - Punishment?

I'm not the villain, I was never the villain. No one ever looked past the 'evil' to see what was behind it, so I was always labeled the villain.

"Hope you're hungry and ready to talk." You heard a voice say as you looked up to see Tony Stark.
You didn't reply, you just buried your head on your knees and ignored him.

"If you want any chance of getting out of here I suggest you cooperate." Tony said as you looked up at him.

"None of this is fair." You grumbled like an angry teenager as Tony scoffed.

"It's not fair that you terrorise the city and then get captured?" He said as you glared at him.

"White straight men can rape and murder people and just get fucking community service, but because I kill a few people out of defence and I have power I'm a danger to the entire planet and get locked up." You grumbled as he sighed.

"It's got nothing to do with..."
You cut him off before you finished.

"Really? Because when Strange kills a bunch of people everyone still loves and praises him, Wanda barely even fucking hurt anyone and you locked her up, The Winter Soldier killed countless people and yet he gets to live a comfortable life here in this fucking tower, Nat would be locked up but she's has pretty privilege, if she wasn't hot the world would hate her." You growled as Tony looked at you.

"How old are you?" He asked as you looked away from him.

"Seventeen." You muttered as he nodded.

"That explains it." He said making you scoff.

"You don't care about the people you killed?" He asked as you chuckled.

"You're funny. I don't give a fucking shit about them, no one will miss them." You growled covering your face again.

"So, if you were to kill me right now. Would you feel anything?" He asked as you looked at him in confusion.

"No? I don't know you and there's so many humans that can replace you." You said as he looked at you in thought.

"What the fuck are you looking at?" You grumbled making him sigh.

"Y/N, I don't think you're a bad person. I think you're definitely misunderstood and lost, but if you cooperate with all of this we can lessen your sentence. You're still just a kid, and you have a lot to learn." He said as you sighed.

"Okay, I'll cooperate." You whispered making him smile softly.

"Good choice, have something to eat then I'll come back down later to talk to you." He said placing a plate inside your cell as you nodded before he left.

You'd finished eating and waited for Tony to return.
He returned eventually, this time he had Steve Rogers with him.
They opened the cell and Tony secured a power damper around your wrist before leading you out of the cell.

"Will they send me to that creepy prison in the middle of the ocean?" You muttered following them along.

"No, I doubt it. You killed a few people, you aren't a threat to the country." Steve replied as you nodded.

"The people that work there are rapists." You grumbled making Tony chuckle.

"Y/N, what makes you think that?" Steve muttered as they led you into an 'interrogation room.'

"Because all men that guard or trap powered people always rape them." You growled as Steve looked at you sadly.
He knew how you had gotten that idea in your head.
Tony and Steve sat in front of you and you slumped back on the chair.

"We just need you to be honest with us, okay Y/N?" Steve asked as you nodded.

"I noticed something with these people you killed. One, they were all male, two they all used to work for Shield." Steve said going through the files.
He already knew exactly why you'd killed them and what they'd done to deserve it, but he needed you to say it yourself on the record.

"No one will miss them." You grumbled crossing your arms as Tony sighed.

"Y/N, they had wives and kids." He said as you felt tears in your eyes.

"Exactly, now those kids can live a life without their dad being a rapist." You grumbled quietly.

"Tony could you give us a moment?" Steve asked as Tony nodded and left the room.

"Y/N, I know what these five men did to you and I am so sorry that you had to go through that. Considering your age and the background you had with these men, I think we'll be able to reduce your sentence. Maybe even have you live here as some sort of intern or something." Steve said as you nodded a little, he could see you holding back tears.

"I-I don't want to go back to Shield, please don't let them take me." You whispered as your tears spilled out of your eyes.

"Y/N, I promise from the bottom of my heart I will never let you go back there." Steve said as you covered your face and nodded.

"I just need a signature from you, to say you except the punishment. Which will be you living here and working with us." Steve said as you looked at him and nodded.
He handed you a piece of paper and a pen, you didn't waist any time signing it.

"Will I get my own room?" You asked as Steve smiled.

"Of course you will and you can make it your own. We can help you get some new clothes, I know you were living on the streets." Steve said as you smiled softly.

"Thank you." You whispered, Steve returning your smile.

"Welcome to the team, Y/N."
