The ocean was nasty - waves reaching most of a few feet high with piercing wind and hard thrusts of rain. Every soldier was drenched head to toe with cold water from both the ocean and the sky. Kiera's feet were already numb, and her hands were soon to follow. It took her a while to notice, but Ghost stayed in front of her as one of Graves' men operated their boat, blocking her from the piercing rain, taking the brunt of the storm just to keep her from having to deal with it.

They heard Graves direct over the comm. The boat shifted to the left towards the cargo ship and Kiera's heart thudded against her chest. Why am I so nervous? She thought.

"I'm definitely going to need a whiskey after this." Kiera shouted to muffle out the harsh rain.

"I'll have to take you up on that," Ghost replied, he too feeling nervous about the job ahead. "Kitchen nook like last time?"

"No better place!"

"Get ready for contact," A Shadow advised, slowing the boat down close to the cargo ship. "They're going to swarm out of here like roaches, especially now that Graves and his team started the raid on the rig."
