Leah's POV
"I'm home," T said while entering the living room. "Hey, baby." She walked to me and kissed my lips.
"Hi."
She looked around. "Where are the boys?"
"Playing," I then motioned to the garden. "Their homework is done."
She nodded before sitting down next to me on the couch.
I looked at her. "How was your day?"
She let out a breath. "A lot," She looked at me then. "I hate how students seem to forget everything after a break from school. Is it the same in your class?"
I nodded. "I spent so much time on going over everything again," I shook my head. "It's stupid, really."
She nodded. "So, what have you been doing?" She asked, motioning to my phone, which was laying on my lap.
"Not much, just chilling."
She looked at me for a while. Almost as if she didn't believe me, as if I was lying about something.
Suddenly the boys came to us. "Tata!" They jumped on her, trying to hug her as best as they could.
T pulled them closer, kissing them. "How are my boys?"
"Good!" They said.
I smiled at them before getting up. "I'll go make dinner." I left to go to the kitchen.

T's POV
I saw Leah leave. I wanted to stop her because I wanted to talk more about her odd behavior. Somehow she seemed to think I hadn't noticed.
"Look, tata," Emil said as he showed me something he made in art class. "This..." And, as children often did, he began to explain in great detail everything about this thing he made. From the choice of color, to the shapes, the construction, and so on.
I wanted him to stop so I could go back to Leah but, at the same time, I wanted to hear everything he was saying. Because he is my son. And I love him.
"For you." He finally concluded. He had the biggest smile on his face. He was clearly very proud of what he had made.
I smiled back at him. "Where shall we display it?" I looked around.
Him and Jin ran around the house, on the look for a good spot.
I followed them.
"Here," I heard Emil say. He pointed to a lower cupboard. "We can put it on top."
I nodded. "Perfect spot," I put his art piece there before looking at him. "Good?"
He nodded.
I then looked at Jin. "How was your day, chouchou?"
Jin shrugged.
I frowned before crouching in front of him. "Do you want to talk about it?"
He looked from me, to the ground. He was fidgeting with his hands and fingers. He was swaying left and right. He was thinking.
Over the years, I had learned to understand his behavior. I knew what to do.
He looked at me before shaking his head.
I nodded and showed him a small smile. "Ok," I gently got back up. "No problem." I'd be lying if I said that this didn't hurt me. I had gotten used to the fact he was much closer to Leah and Emil. He tended to keep things from me. It was something I simply had to live with...
He nodded before going back to the living room.
I took a deep breath before going to the kitchen, to Leah.
"It smells amazing," I said when I entered.
She smiled.
I walked to her, to hold her from behind. I kissed her cheek. "Something's going on with Jin."
She immediately turned to look at me. "What is it?"
I shrugged.
From the look on her face, I knew she understood. She knew Jin wouldn't tell me. And she knew how upset that had gotten me.
She looked towards the living room before looking at me.
I nodded. "I'll watch the food, you go."
She showed me a small smile before going to Jin.

Leah's POV
I let out a deep breath as I entered the bedroom.
T was in bed, seemingly waiting for me. When I entered she had put the book, she was reading, down and gave me all her attention. "And? What did he say?"
I sat down on bed. "It's stupid really," I shook my head before looking at her. "Apparantly his teacher said something he didn't like."
T raised her eyebrows. "What did he say?"
I sighed. "He asked everyone to draw their family."
T nodded.
"A student didn't know who they could include and who was excluded, so the teacher explained them to simply draw their siblings, their mom," I looked at T. "And their dad."
She looked down, sighing.
"Jin was confused, he refused to continue, he had an outburst..." I went to lie down then. "I don't understand that nobody called us."
T shook her head. "I'll call the school tomorrow."
I nodded.
She then looked at me. "I'll be right back." She went to the bathroom.
I sat there, waiting. I took my phone. I looked around, wondering what to do. Again I spotted wattpad. I looked at it for a bit. It had been months, maybe even years since I had last been on there. I hadn't written anymore in years. And somehow... I had gotten used to it. Even though I stopped writing, my mind never stopped. Story after story kept coming to me at night. Instead of writing about them, I simply enjoyed them.
I gulped but pressed the icon. I got into my account. It was odd: being back. Back to a place I had been so much. A place I had loved so much. It was odd. As if nothing had changed here.
I went to my profile and saw all my stories. I smiled, remembering them. Suddenly I felt proud.
Then I spotted the messages from some readers, asking me where I was, when I'd return, whether everything was ok... I was overcome with guilt. It's true, I had left, suddenly. I had disappeared. I hadn't said a word...
I looked at those messages, wondering whether I should answer or not... I didn't want to worry anyone, but would I return...?
Suddenly T came back. "Here I am."
I put my phone away. "Good."
She leaned in to kiss me. "I love you, baby."
"I love you too, baby." We kissed.
T turned off the light and took me in her arms. She let out a breath, indicating she was content and ready to fall asleep.
Me, on the other hand... I could only think of those messages on wattpad, of how I failed people, of how I could've left without a word. Honestly, I didn't know what to feel or think anymore...
