Boun sat behind Prem who was staring down at his book as if it was his mortal enemy

Boun sat behind Prem who was staring down at his book as if it was his mortal enemy. He looked at Prem who had been in this position for over an hour.

Wrapping his arms around the younger’s waist, Boun asked “What are you doing?” He kissed the back of Prem’s neck.

“Hia will you stop doing that?” Prem jerked up.

“Doing what?”

“Sneaking up behind me like this.”

“I didn’t sneak up behind. I openly came and sat down here. You were too engrossed in the book that you didn’t notice me. By the way, what are you doing? Trying to set the book on fire by staring so hard at it?” Boun snickered.

Prem rolled his eyes at the elder’s sarcastic comments. “I am trying to study here. Go away. Don’t distract me.” Prem pushed him away.

“Au? How am I distracting you? I am just sitting here quietly.” Boun pouted.

“I know very well what you are trying to do sitting here. I didn’t let you sleep over to distract me from my studies. I am having exams in a few days. So you better behave.” Prem said in a serious tone.

“Khrab.” Boun hugged Prem tighter and rested his head over the other’s shoulder.

Prem sighed at Boun’s actions, trying hard to ignore him and study.

Boun looked at Prem who was reading the book in front of him and not paying attention to him. “Never thought that you would be the studious kind.” Boun could see the mountain of books on the table.

“I so wish I was.” Prem scoffed. “I have been reading this page over and over again and I have no idea what it says. I think I am going to get an F grade this semester.”

“This doesn’t seem too tough.” Boun frowned reading the page.

“It may not be tough. It is just that I am dumb.” Prem supported his chin with his left hand while flipping through the pages with the other.

“If you ask me nicely, I can help you study,” Boun said with a smirk.

“’You’ helping ‘me’ study?” Prem asked pointing fingers at Boun and himself.
Boun nodded.

Prem burst out laughing.

“Why are you laughing? I am serious. Even though this was not my core paper I was still your senior. I topped the university in my batch.” Boun was a little annoyed that Prem was not taking him seriously.

“Really?”

Boun nodded.

“Then your batchmates must be really dumb.” Prem continued laughing.
Boun stared at Prem without saying a word.

“Okay. Okay. I will stop.” Prem wiped his tears from laughing so hard. “Are you mad at me?” Prem asked placing his finger under Boun’s chin.

Boun slapped his hands away and turned his head pouting.

“Sorry. I’m really sorry. I wasn’t trying to make fun of you.” Prem found Boun extra cute when he was sulking.
“Apology not excepted,” Boun said without looking at Prem.

“What should I do to make you accept my apology?” Prem asked.

Boun tapped on his lips asking for a kiss.
Prem hesitated for a second before quickly placing a peck on Boun’s lips and turning away.

Boun smirked proudly seeing Prem blush.

“So, what do you find difficult?” Boun once again wrapped his hands around Prem and looked at the book in front of him.

“Everything.” Prem groaned.

“Let’s do one thing then. Let’s look at the previous year's question papers and study the important questions asked in those. It will probably help you get an idea about the subject. We don’t have time to go through the whole syllabus.” Boun analyzed flipping through the pages of the book.

“Hia, you are an angel.” Prem kissed Boun on his cheeks.

Boun was taken aback by Prem’s action as he stared at the latter whose ears had turned red.

“I…I…will get the previous question papers.” Prem shuttered as he grabbed his phone to download the previous year's questions.

When Boun started tutoring Prem, he understood the younger’s condition was much worse than he had imagined.
“How on earth did you reach the final semester?” Boun looked at Prem’s answers.

“I have no idea. Maybe I was just really lucky.” Prem shrugged.

“I feel pity for the achaan who is in charge of valuing your paper. He might as well commit suicide than reading your paper.” Boun said sarcastically.

“Big deal.” Prem stuck his tongue out and made a face at Boun.

Boun flicked Prem’s forehead.

“Aw. Hia. That hurts.” Prem rubbed his forehead.

“I am being serious here, Prem. You might really fail if you answer the questions like this.” Boun said in a stern tone.

“I know Hia. But I am not intelligent like you. Neither do I have a good foundation. I don’t understand most of the concepts said in this. What am I supposed to do?” Prem was dispirited.

“You have to study. There is no way around it. If you find it tough, use more time to study. Keep your phone away for a few days and concentrate on studying. You can game after you are done with the exam.” Boun got serious.

Prem unwillingly handed his phone to Boun.

Boun took his phone and uninstalled all the games and distracting apps from it before giving it back.

Prem put away the phone and buried his face into the heap of practice question paper.

They studied till midnight.

“Hia. Can we stop now, na? my brain can’t take anything in anymore.” Prem pleaded.

“Let’s stop after you finish these questions.” Boun compromised.

Prem was instantly energized and started answering the questions enthusiastically.

Boun shook his head smiling finding Prem adorable.

“Here, Hia.” Prem passed the answer sheet to Boun excitedly and put his pen and the books away.

“Wait.” Boun stopped Prem who was about to get up.

“What happened Hia?” Prem was puzzled.

“Let me check your answers first.” Boun was going through the answer sheet.
Prem groaned and sat down.

“Good. You have improved.” Boun ruffled Prem’s hair.

Prem smiled smugly at Boun.

“Now, let’s do some exercise,” Boun said.

“More exercise? Hia, you said you will let me off after I finish those questions.” Prem whined.

“I am not talking about the exercises in the books. I am talking about the exercises in bed.” Boun pulled Prem into his embrace and kissed him on the forehead.

Prem tried to get out of Boun’s grip.

“It is necessary to keep physical exercise at the same level as the brain exercise.” Boun carried Prem to the bed in bridal style.

Turning off the main lights of the condo, Boun climbed on the bed like a lion approaching its prey.

Prem gulped as he moved back facing Boun till he hit the headboard of the bed.

Boun covered the distance between them and attacked Prem’s neck, peppering kisses all over his face. Prem giggled feeling tickled by Boun’s breath.
