"I should have been the one you chose! I should have been the one bearing the Guntachai family surname! It should have been me! Not him!" Alan screamed like a psychopath.

Alan felt wronged. According to the custom of the family, the firstborn of the family was titled the heir. Only if the firstborn was unwilling to take up the position or was unable to take the position due to lack of ability, the title would be passed down. Yet in his case, he wasn't even considered for the position.

He had always proved to everyone that he had exceptional abilities in various fields and was a fitting heir. He couldn't understand why he was never given the chance.

"If you hadn't been so influenced by your Dad and became so greedy, we would have gladly given that position to you." Jen was the one who answered the question. "You were led astray by your Dad. If you had been brought up by someone with principles like Kao was, then I wouldn't have thought twice before handing over everything to you."

"NO! YOU WOULD HAVE SIDED WITH THAT BASTARD NO MATTER WHAT!" Alan yelled making the whole crowd go silent.

Jen stared at his eldest grandson who looked like a shrew in the street. He didn't have an ounce of sympathy for the younger.

The crowd didn't even dare to breathe. No one dared to speak to the master of the Guntachai family like that. Alan's behaviour was audacious.

CRUNCH CRUNCH

A munching noise was heard. Everyone turned in the direction of the source of the sound. Their gaze landed on a guy dressed in a white rib knit oversized drop shoulder shirt and beige chinos, sitting on the table at the other end of the room, holding a packet of chips.

He clearly looked out of place in such a grand party. Not just his outfit even the snack he was eating didn't seem to belong to the party in which five-star Michelin chefs were serving food.

Prem's hand that had picked the piece of potato chips from the packet paused when he saw everyone looking over. "Why is everyone looking at me?" He looked around before taking a bite of the crunchy chips. "Don't mind me, you guys carry on"

"Pfft" a laugh escaped Dream's lips. Ann gently smacked her daughter's hand making a hushing gesture at her in the process.

Even the ones on the stage couldn't help but smile seeing the cute Prem who seemed to care more about the packet of chips in his hands. He was looking at everyone warily while tightly hugging the packet in his hand.

Boun who was feeling a bit affected by Alan's accusations felt better after seeing his Pao. He knew that the younger was there to support him.

"See!" Saen wanted to make use of the situation to degrade Boun's reputation. "This is the kind of people the child you raised hang out with!"

Prem knitted his brows with a prominent pout on his lips. His chip packet was empty and Saen's voice was so irritating that it was starting to get on his nerves. He could clearly feel that Saen was looking down on him.

"That is not what you said the last time we met, Khun Saen." He jumped off the table, grabbing a tissue to wipe his fingers and lips. He crumbled the used tissue along with the plastic wrapper of the chips packet into a ball and threw it to the waste bin at corner most end of the hall in a perfect arch.

Saen wasn't scared of being exposed of having mistresses. He had already been divorced. But Prem being present there made him feel like the latter was challenging his authority. "Catch that dog and drag him out of here!" He roared.

But none of the bodyguards moved. Nor did the security team.

"What the heck are you doing? Can't you hear me?" He yelled at the security team who was treating him as thin air.
