79. Frustration

Boun has always been a very approachable person and that was the reason why he had so many friends. But once he starts getting the feeling that the other party's intentions towards him, he will cut them off completely.

But Ohm was the exact opposite. Despite the stoic outer appearance, he was a gentleman through and through. He didn't know how to rudely kick out people who had bad intentions towards him. And that is what had dragged him into all this mess.

A year ago, when the vixen named Peach started showing her fangs, trying to larch onto Ohm in the name of love, Boun had almost forced Ohm to reject her publicly.

Back then Ohm had been really reluctant about it as he still considered Peach as one of his close friends. He was afraid that by rejecting her in front of everyone, he might lose a friend. But the situation had his hands tied and he had to follow Boun's advice.

Peach had a big hand in the scandal in which all of them were suffering today. And the reason was her obsession with Ohm.

In the past few days Boun had been back from the relaxation centre, he hadn't been able to contact anyone else other than Ohm. That included Prem, Kao, Fluke, Earth and Sammy. He understood that they were trying to sort out the whole thing but he was too worried about the whole thing that his mind started being unreasonable.

His worries only heightened when he heard that Fluke was attacked near his residence and had been receiving death threats like bloodied dolls and dead rats.

Ohm had also started suspecting that he was being stalked as some photographs of him and Fluke near his private residence had been leaked.  He had been running around to put an end to everything with Boun helping him as much as he could.

Boun got a call from Kao in the early morning asking him to come to his office along with Ohm.

When he got there, he was surprised to see Kao and Earth mingling so closely. For a second his gossipy instincts started acting up. But he knew that it was not the right time for it and he calmed his mind down.

He was surprised to find that the sweet and kind-looking Earth was actually an international hacker and he would be giving them a hand in the whole situation.

When Earth told them that Ohm had been followed by a sasaeng fan, Boun's blood boiled. No matter how silly he acted, he was still a big brother to Ohm. He couldn't sit still when his little cousin's safety was in question.

Not to mention that the stalker was let in by Peach. She had even financially helped the stalker in exchange for information about Ohm's whereabouts.

Boun could swear that if he saw Peach at that moment, he would forget that she was a woman and beat the crap out of her.

The involvement of rival companies in the whole thing was something Boun had expected. After working in the industry for a long time, he could easily guess such things.

Boun also learned that people were attacking Prem alongside Fluke, calling him names like gold diggers. He finally got an explanation on why the latter hadn't contacted him for a long time. Prem was in a hideout along with Fluke away from the whole mess.

He let out a sigh of relief hearing that. He was internally relieved that most of the attacks were aimed at Fluke and not at Prem as he was yet to debut. Call him selfish, but he was relieved.

Earth didn't seem to be worried about his friends being attacked left and right. He was being a typical manager who cared more about himself, to the extent that he ditched the three cousins to go on a date with his boyfriend.

Boun couldn't comprehend why Kao was okay with the fact that Earth was dating someone else and even showing it off in front of them. When he confronted his eldest cousin on this, the elder had only said he wasn't qualified to stop Earth in any way.

Even though what Kao said was a fact, Boun could still hear a tone of melancholy in Kao's voice. He knew that Kao hadn't actually moved on from Earth and Earth openly dating someone else like this would hurt his cousin more than anything.

Boun decided to do something on this matter once the whole scandal was settled, even if it meant him going against Prem and Fluke. He wished for Kao's happiness more than anything else and he knew that his happiness was with Earth.

The trio started working on the information Earth had provided them with. There was a major change in shareholders of the agency as many of the current shareholders had sold their shares thinking that their company was going to go bankrupt.

Boun wanted to buy the shares and provide funds but was only able to acquire a very small portion of the shares. Someone else had beaten him to it and thankfully the other party was supportive of Kao and Ohm.

With the influx of funds from the new shareholder, the financial crisis of the agency was almost over. The PR department and legal department of the agency were working overtime to find solutions to the problems haters were throwing their way. They were able to calm the storm up to an extent.

But no one could calm the storm that was going on inside Boun's head. He longed to meet Prem. Having no news from the younger was driving him crazy.

He knew that Ohm was no different from him. So, he joined forces with his cousin to persuade Earth who had been tight-lipped about Prem's and Fluke's current location.

"I am sorry, phi. Neither Prem nor Fluke wants their location to be shared." Earth shrugged.

"But why?" Boun was getting impatient hearing the same answer from Earth. He badly wanted to talk to Prem.

If eyes could kill, Earth would have been dead for the umpteenth time from the glares the two cousins were directing at him.

"Earth, don't you trust us? We will never leak their location to anyone." Ohm tried to convince Earth with Boun nodding along actively like a car doll.

"That's rich coming from someone who had no idea he was being stalked for the past two years." Earth snickered.

"What about me? What about me?" Boun pointed at himself eagerly.

Earth looked at Boun from head to toe and spoke "Fluke specially said that I should not let you know."

"Why???"

"Because, Prem needs rest and Fluke believes that once you get to meet Prem, you wouldn't let him get any rest." Earth smiled deliberately at Boun, making the older look away for being caught in the act. "So, until I get orders from my boss, I will not tell you anything."
