Boun was feeling ashamed as he stood in front of Prem’s villa.

It had been two weeks since the incident in the locker room happened. He hadn’t seen Prem since that day.

Prem had taken leave saying that he got into an accident. Sammy and Bosston might not know but Boun knew exactly what accident the younger had gotten into. And that accident was named ‘Boun’.

That day Boun had gone to the company to have a conversation with Prem. He had mustered up the courage to admit that he was wrong to have left him during their trip without telling him. he wanted to clear the air between them and reconcile with Prem. He even drank some alcohol because having some alcohol in his system would giving enough courage to face Prem.

But when Boun reached the building, he saw Prem talking and laughing with some other people in his coaching class. He even saw one of them touching Prem inappropriately and Prem didn’t seem to mind it. Prem even gave the guy a hug before parting.

This was not the first time Boun had seen Prem hugging other men. A few days earlier, he had seen Prem hugging Chris who had come to drop him at the company. Then Sammy justified the action as a friendly hug. But Boun could see that it was not. The look in Chris’s eyes, when he looked at Prem, was not the one someone would give a friend.

Seeing Prem being touchy with other people and chatting as if he had already forgotten about Boun made the latter angry. To top it all, Boun heard Prem talking to Kate on the phone. Even though he didn’t hear the whole conversation, he could see that the phone call was pleasant seeing Prem humming happily.

Boun lost his temper. With alcohol taking over his senses, he did something Prem would never forgive him.

Boun took a deep breath before pressing the doorbell.

Prem opened the door and was horrified to see Boun at his doorstep. He immediately tried to close the door but Boun caught hold of the door and prevented him from closing it.

“Why are you here?” Prem asked in a trembling voice as he watched Boun enter his house. He hurriedly grabbed a vase, that was kept on the cabinet as a showpiece and pointed it at Boun. “Don’t come any closer.”

The way Prem looked at him and his words, hurt Boun a lot. But he understood that it was only normal that Prem would treat him like that after what he had done.

“Pao. I am not here to hurt you.” Boun raised his hand surrendering. “I…I…can explain everything, Pao. Just listen to me once.” Boun begged.

“Don’t call me Pao. And I don’t want to listen to your explanation. Please leave.” Prem was still pointing the vase at Boun taking cautious steps backward creating distance between him and Boun.

“Prem, please hear me out.”

“NO. Please leave.”

“I know what I did was terribly wrong and a mere apology wouldn’t be enough to make you forgive me. But I am here to ask for your forgiveness. Give me a chance to explain, Prem. Just one chance.” Boun’s eyes turned glossy.

Prem stayed silent looking wryly at Boun. Boun took it as a green signal to go ahead with his explanation.

“I just wanted us to go back to what we Prem. I was there to talk things out with you. You looked so happy without me that I was angry. I felt like I was the only person missing our time together.”

“Just stop using words like ‘us’ and ‘our’ to refer to the make-out sessions you had with me.  It sounds so disgusting coming from your mouth. It was never ‘us’. It was ‘you’ and ‘me’.” Prem pointed at Boun and then at himself.

“You refusing to admit doesn’t change anything, Pao.”

“I told you not to call me that. I have a name and that is Prem.”

“Prem, please calm down and listen to me.”

“Calm down? You are asking me to calm down? Would you be able to calm down if you were in my situation?” Prem’s eyes became watery.

“Nothing of that sort would have happened if you hadn’t triggered me first. I came to reconcile with you and you sprouted nonsense.”

“What was the ‘nonsense that I sprouted?’”

“When I asked you if you had slept with Kate again, why did you say yes, when you had clearly friend zone her? If you hadn’t said that I wouldn’t have lost control that day. And I wouldn’t have hurt you.”

“Oh! Now it is all my fault? It is my fault that you are a classified trash?” Prem scoffed. “Get something straight in your head Khun Noppanut, I am not a man whore like you. I don’t sleep around with anyone I see.”

Boun felt his heart shatter into pieces as he heard Prem calling him a man whore. When others called him that, he never felt anything because it was true that he slept around a lot. But when the words came out of Prem’s mouth, he was deeply hurt.

“I didn’t mean to say that you sleep around,” Boun said meekly holding back his tears.

“Then what the hell did you mean by asking me that? Do you think that just because you got me into your bed so easily, I am too easy?”

Boun shook his head in denial of Prem’s question.

“Even if I really did sleep with her, what does it have to do with you? It is clearly none of your business. Who I sleep with, who I meet, or who I date. All these should be none of your concern.” Prem paused. “We were just fuck buddies, phi. Nothing more nothing less. And that had ended the night you left me alone. It was a clear message that you didn’t want to sleep with me anymore.”

“Pao, it’s not like that. I…”

“Prem. Prem Warut. I don’t want to hear you calling me by any nicknames. We aren’t that close.”

“Prem. Can you stop being like this? I really didn’t mean it like that.”

“I know exactly what you meant that night. Do you know why?” Prem smirked at Boun. “Because I was wide awake that night. I heard every single word you talked to Fu Xiaoman. And I exactly where I stood in your life that night. So, stop coming up with new stories. I am not interested in listening to any of it.”

“Prem, you have misunderstood. Manman and me, we are not like that.”

“I don’t care what you guys are. I don’t care if you are phi-nong, friends or fuck buddies like you and me. I don’t care. I don’t give a damn. Now, I think you have done enough of your ‘explanation’, you should leave. Or else I will call the cops.” Prem threatened.
