80.It looked like Jungkook still has a lot of potential left in him. (1)

Lisa finally asked him after they had gotten into the car, "So why do you dislike Nancy and her brother?"

Jungkook looked over at Lisa. His gaze remained on Lisa for a few seconds but he didn't say a word.

Lisa was baffled, "He had bullied you in the past?"

Sehun didn't seem that type. Even when he was wheelchair bound, he still retained his gentleness.

Jungkook gave Lisa another look and, slowly, his voice sounding like it was squeezed out from his throat, said, "No."

If Sehun hadn't bullied him in the past, then why did Jungkook dislike him and would be upset when he saw him?

Lisa wooed him the same way she wooed little Jungkook, "It's alright. We will just avoid him if you don't like him."

They weren't close with each other and there was no need for them to socialize anyway.

The two black clouds over his head with lightning disappeared after she had said that.

Welp, that was easy.

Lisa went to see a doctor and her sprain wasn't bad. The doctor rubbed some medication on her and she would recover in a week or so.

Mother Jeon, Father Jeon, and Eunha were all there when they arrived home.

"What happened? We were told by the bodyguards that you were attacked?" Mother Jeon looked worried. Even her hair was a little messed up. She had obviously rushed home from somewhere.

Walking up to them quickly, she asked, "Are you two hurt?"

"Jungkook is fine. I sprained my ankle." Half of Lisa's body was leaning over on Jungkook. Unlike the milky smell that he had when he was a child, what she picked up now was a clear and fresh smell from him. It was just a hint but pleasant.

"Have a seat quickly then." Mother Jeon finally noticed the gauze around Lisa's ankle. She turned to Father Jeon and asked, "Were they able to catch up to the culprits? What was going on?"

Father Jeon looked solemn. Between his elegant brows was the authoritativeness belonging to somehow who had been in power for years. Nevertheless, when he looked over to his wife, he said to her gently, "Yes, we got them and had already taken them to the police station. The other end said that the driver was driving drunk."

Lisa frowned deeply. She felt that the car aimed directly at herself and Jungkook. It did not look like someone driving drunk.

"Drunk driving or intentional? We must get down to the bottom of this." Mother Jeon was still worried.

"Mmm." Naturally, Father Jeon wouldn't just let this go easily and allowed his family's lives to be in danger.

Eunha, next to them, said, "Lali, have you offended someone?"

If Lisa had truly offended someone and endangered Jungkook, both Mother and Father Jeon would be unhappy with her.

Lisa studied Eunha's look carefully. She was wondering whether Eunha was the one behind the incident. "I'm an easygoing one and had no conflict with anyone but......"

Giving Eunha a very meaningful look, she said, "Just because I hadn't offended anyone doesn't mean that there won't be thief going after my possessions."

It was entirely possible that Eunha was the one behind it. She had, after all, lost 33% of her halo already and Eunha's look had changed noticeably. In fact, she had made it onto the most trending list because of her looks.

Perhaps Eunha hired someone to take care of her now that she was out of options.

Eunha felt that the way Lisa was looking at her was odd. "If it wasn't you, then perhaps they were after Jungkook. With his condition, you shouldn't take him out all the time."

She had no idea what had gotten into Lisa. She used to hate Jungkook and wished they could get a divorce right away. Now she was like a different person. Not only did her attitude toward Jungkook changed, she even took Jungkook out all the time.

That was a lot of effort if her only purpose was just to appease Mother Jeon.

"I was the one who asked Lali to take Jungkook to the art exhibition," said Mother Jeon, looking not too happy.

Eunha was surprised. She didn't think it was Mother Jeon's idea. She quickly explained herself, "I am not blaming Lali. It's just that Jungkook is just getting better. If incidents like today happen when they go out, I wonder if it would negatively impact him."

Mother Jeon mellowed out a little.
