174.Odd Big Sister, I miss. (3)

Lisa felt like there was fire burning in her chest as she brought Jungkook home.

She did not say a word to Jungkook until she walked inside his room with him.

Lisa let go of his hand after the room door was closed behind them.

She questioned him, "Did you ask Golden Mane and Red Mane to lock you up?"

Judging from Golden Mane's abrupt change of attitude and that the bodyguards did not step up. Everything pointed to the fact that it wasn't a prank but that it was voluntary. In fact, he had asked for it himself.

The tall young man lowered his head. His lips pinched shut, he grunted a "Mmm" from his throat.

Jungkook didn't know how to lie, or coverup. He was an honest one.

"Why did you ask others to lock you up?" asked Lisa in a stern tone.

Jungkook looked up, looked at her, looked away and then, he looked back at Lisa again and said, "Bully me, back Big Sister."

The young man's dull voice was particularly clear in a quiet room. Lisa was stunned.

Jungkook had figured it out?

He asked others to bully him just so that she would show up?

Lisa suddenly remembered what Jungkook had said to her earlier about the two new points in the timelines in Jungkook's growth.

Now she got it. They were orchestrated by Jungkook himself.

Much like big Kookie who purposefully let himself be pricked by roses just to have her lick his fingers, now Kookie put himself in dire situations to get her to appear.

They were the same person. Let it be the young Jungkook or the adult Jungkook. They had the same personality and same way of thinking.

Lisa looked at him seriously. Inside the dark black eyes of the innocent young Jungkook was her reflection.

He looked at her in a daze, having no idea why she was upset at him.

Lisa's heart softened.

Jungkook was not a fool. He noticed wisely that she showed up every time he was in a dire situation, bullied, or was unhappy.

That was the reason that he tried having others bully him.

He succeeded the first time and that was the reason there was the subsequent time of him being locked in a box.

"I know. You wanted to see me and you wanted me to show up."

Lisa's voice lightened up and the anger in her chest dissipated. "But it is very dangerous for you to put yourself in dangerous situations. What if I don't show up in time?"

Jungkook couldn't feel pain. He didn't care about being beaten up or bullied nor was he afraid of them. As such, he would choose such a way in exchange for Lisa's showing up.

That was what Lisa worried about the most. Jungkook not being able to feel pain didn't mean that he couldn't be hurt.

Jungkook pinched his lips shut a bit and said slowly, "Odd Big Sister, want see."

He wanted to see her when he opened up his eyes.

He wanted to see her when he closed his eyes.

But, Odd Big Sister was not there.

With the innocent young man professing how much he missed her, Lisa blushed and her heart softened.

What was she going to do?

It was wrong for him to be this cute.

It wasn't his fault. It was hers!

She was wrong. She shouldn't have asked him so sternly and she shouldn't have looked at him so coldly.

Meeting his docile eyes, Lisa felt that she couldn't have been more wrong.

But, thinking about how Jungkook had put himself in danger's way and had no idea how serious that matters were, Lisa still felt the need to educate him seriously.

"Every time that I come to see you, I need to work very hard and spent a lot of energy in exchange for the opportunity to come." Lisa wooed him.

She wasn't exactly lying. She did have to work very hard to earn little suns from big Kookie before she could consume them to come and save Xiao Kookie.

Lisa went on to say, "If you keep putting yourself in harms way and ask others to bully you in order to get me to show up, I will have to keep work working and spend a lot of energy. I might die from overworking."

She was spending little suns much faster than she was earning them.

This trip cost her 200 little suns. She might need 300 little suns if another new stop appeared in the timeline next time.

Was she supposed to kiss big Kookie so much that his lips were swollen?
