122.Get out of my way, Nancy. (2)

Nancy had arranged for a car to wait outside of the school entrance.

Lisa noticed that the Jeon's chauffeur followed Jungkook on their way there. It looked like even though Mother Jeon agreed for Jungkook to attend his classmate's birthday party and hoped that he could have a normal social life but was still worried about him.

Sitting next to Jungkook, Lisa comforted him. "It's alright. We will take off after we eat."

Jungkook blinked. His voice sounded like it was forced out of his throat. It was both deep and dull. "You go, I do."

I will go if you go.

Figured out what he was saying, she chuckled and said, "No."

Jungkook gave her a blank look.

Lisa corrected him. "I am only going because Kookie is going."

When they arrived at the private room, Nancy requested to sit next to Jungkook and was rejected by him once again.

Nancy did not insist. She knew that Jungkook was not keen on interacting with others so she picked the spot that was one spot away from him.

Yeon Woo sat down next to Nancy. Everyone said congratulatory words to her and she turned to look at Jungkook, hoping that he, too, would say something.

Nevertheless, Jungkook did not respond to her.

Nancy was disappointed.

She had been going after for Jungkook for so many years. Even if it was a stone that she had been holding in her hand, it would be warmed up by now. Nevertheless, he was colder and harder than even a stone. She was not able to crack his shell at all.

Then, it occurred to Nancy that nobody other than her would fall for Jungkook anyway so he would be hers one way or another. It was just a matter of time.

She was happy all over again.

After lunch, Nancy booked a room for karaoke. It was on the floor above them.

The light was dim inside the room with only pink and blue lights. There were singing and playful noises coming from the room.

Lisa noticed that Jungkook was frowning a little. He was a little impatient and a little irritated from being here.

She leaned into his ear and asked, "Do you not like it here? Let's head out then."

Over on the other side, Yeon Woo was pouring wine for Nancy as she said to her, "Have some more wine if you are nervous."

After one glass of wine, Nancy's voice was loud from being nervous, "Who said I am nervous?"

Yeon Woo made a suggestion. "Or, we can have Jungkook drink some too. You will be brave enough to kiss him when he is drunk and he won't turn you down either."

Nancy's eyes lit up when she heard that. She was a little excited from that suggestion. "I don't know if he can hold alcohol. What happens if he really got drunk?"

Yeon Woo reminded her, "That would be perfect. You don't really want to drink with him anyway. Your purpose is to kiss him."

Nancy nodded in agreement but she was still a bit hesitant. "You are right about that. But what am I going to say to his mom if he got drunk?"

Yeon Woo winked her at, implying that, "Who doesn't drink a little at a birthday party?"

Nancy looked over at Jungkook who was sitting in a corner. The young man was in red and she could make out his features even though it was dark.

Nancy's heart raced. She quickly had another glass of wine to help her heart slow down. She really, really liked Jungkook's looks.

Suddenly, her phone rang and it was a call from her brother. "Big Brother."

Hearing the bustling noises from the phone, Sehun frowned and asked, "Where are you, Nancy?"

"I am celebrating my birthday with my friends at the hotel." As she spoke on the phone, Nancy was looking at Jungkook the entire time. She noticed that Jungkook had gotten up and was about to take off.

"Oh, Big Brother, I need to take care of something. Chat later." Nancy quickly hang up on the phone and rushed up to stop Jungkook from leaving.

"Where are you going, Jungkook?" Nancy blocked the door.

Lisa felt that the young Nancy was very annoying and she was itching to give her a beating.
